Great campsite, perfect location with great views. Only issue was loud groups up till very late shouting, otherwise, no issues at all.

We had a lovely stay and it is a fantastic site with great facilities. The only criticism is as much as we love to see them the peacocks, they made a lot of noise from 4:00am to 5:00am on Friday and Saturday night. Many people were woken up and could not sleep. The main toilets/shower block had an unpleasant smell at times in the ladies area. It could have been the bins that need emptying more often but the shower block was lovely and clean. Thank you for a lovely break - Julie.

Easy booking - rang reception to see if they where happy for my daughter and friend to stay without adult being present and were very receptive and when we checked in, reiterated that if they have any issues come straight to reception. If they wished to charge phone, can do so there. They thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Facilities clean, rubbish collected from camping field regularly. Onside staff friendly. Woodford pizzas went down a treat.

Lovely campsite, clean and has everything you need. The resident peacock and alpacas are bonus. It's my first time camping in this place but definitely not my last. Will come back.

Great stay! We normally go camping where we are given a slot in a field and there are only a few tents, with more of a wild camping feeling. Having said that, we enjoyed our stay at Barn Farm, although, it can get crowded at the bottom of Field 1 because it is the only flat bit in the field. I would probably book the field opposite next time. It's also crowded on the weekend but it's flat and has sunshine a lot longer than Field 1. The staff are very friendly and on top of things given the amount of campers. The only thing, I think needs looking into is the cleaning products of the facilities. They smell! It took us a while to figure it out, as it's very unusual. That was very unpleasant, but other than that we had a lovely time. Thank you!

3rd time staying here and it's the 2nd family fun weekend we've been to and they do not disappoint. They cater for all age groups, from indoor and outdoor games for the younger ones and the Horse & Jockey bar for us older kids 😜 There are plenty of toilets which are cleaned and restocked regularly, and also shower facilities and a pot washing station. There are some lovely walks around the area and 2 pubs just a short walk down the road. We will definitely book again.

Really enjoyed our stay on the family fun weekend. A very family friendly site, kids quickly made friends and were playing out. Such a good variety of entertainment and attractions at affordable prices. The goat walking and learning all about them was good fun and the good old fashioned coconut shy. The rides and bouncy castles were all affordable and run by friendly people. The amenities were clean and well maintained. Both evening bands were easy listening and good for a boogie. Food trucks a good variety and bar good quality and affordable. So close to Stanton Moor and friendly village pubs. What a thoroughly enjoyable weekend, best we've had for a long while. Didn't want it to end, will deffo be returning.
Amazing, as always

Its been 7 years since our last visit and still as good as it was back then. The place is so clean and well equipped. The showers and toilets are brilliant. Evening entertainment and food stalls were great, cant wait to come again next year.

The staff were very friendly and helpful - opening up the shop early for me so I could buy some milk! The facilities stayed clean despite a the big family fun weekend event. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed a walk from the campsite with a couple of older babies in carriers and two 3 1/2 year olds. The destination of 9 stone ladies circle was the perfect hide and seek spot! In the evening, there was quite a bit of noise but that was to be expected with the event taking place. Noise stopped at the time which had been stated and there were no disturbances during the night. The play park was good but it would be nice to have more benches for tired parents!
Fantastic time to catch up with friends!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Barn Farm Campsite this weekend. It was clean, had all of the necessary amenities (and more) and was a great location for us to get out on some trails. Honestly couldn’t recommend enough - seemed to accommodate for all party sizes/ages, brilliant place and will be returning!

Overall, a brilliant stay. The location is stunning and the facilities are really good, especially for families. Only a few downsides, were that if you camped in one of the larger fields, you were very far away from the facilities. A couple of portaloos strategically placed would have been fab. The lack of access to plugs for charging was also a shame. Having some higher up ones in the toilet block would have helped. There was an event on, which was fantastic and there was so much to do. A few more vegetarian options and someone keeping an eye on the cleanliness of the facilities would have made it perfect. Overall though, it was brilliant.

Loved the whole site. Everything you needed and exceptionally well run. Could maybe do with a couple of porta-loos in the far ends of the fields, as it's quite a walk in the middle of the night and didn't want to leave nipper alone in the tent.
