About The Orchard Campsite

Located on the outskirts of Wickham Market in 11 acres of calm Suffolk countryside, this site provides campers with a peaceful rural setting. You can pitch where you want here, with a range of non allocated grass pitches to suit most campers and 20 electric hook-ups available. The meadow provides the largest space to pitch while the woodland area is ideal for those looking for secluded camping away from the crowds. The pond and river areas also provide an idyllic backdrop during your stay, with the River Deben ideal for a spot of fishing! Pre-erected tents onsite mean you don't have to bring the tent pegs along. Sleeping up to eight, these are built to handle extreme weather and provide guests with plenty of room - optional electric is also available. Alternatively, glamping is a real treat here too with the safari tent. Equipped with two bedrooms, the tent is situated overlooking the pond and enjoys its own quiet location with private veranda as well as your own toilet/shower facilities.

Site facilities include toilets and showers, individual washrooms for men/women with sockets for hairdryers, shavers etc. A kitchen area onsite is equipped with fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave and you'll also find a coin operated washing machine and dryer. A play area includes swings, undercover table tennis and more, plus there's free fishing on site in the well stocked pond including carp, roach, tench etc.

There is an off licence shop onsite including fresh meats, drinks, jams and more than 200 beers and wines from across the globe!
