Peaceful and secluded, Tobacconist Farm is an adult-only site located on the edge of a very historic Market Town called Minchinhampton in Gloucestershire. It is the ideal site to pitch up in the countryside and still have access to all amenities. Dogs are welcome here and in all pubs, with over 400 acres of stunning AONB and many wonderful walks from Michinhampton.

A lovely quiet site with clean facilities. Lucy was helpful in showing us to our pitch. Good to be walking distance to the small town and the large common. The pub was a bit disappointing -overpriced for the food provided but not out of line with other local eateries. Location good for local towns/places of interest.

We had a lovely 3 nights at this campsite over the bank holiday weekend. Lucy greeted us on arrival and showed us to our pitch and also gave us a helpful information sheet about the area. We had booked a pitch without electric hookup, so were in the smaller field which only took 6 tents. We had lots of room and it was very peaceful. Toilets and showers were clean and spacious and the kitchen area also had a helpful fridge freezer which meant we could refreeze our ice blocks. Fire pits could be hired and some people around us did take advantage of that option. The area is lovely. We really enjoyed the coffee shop in the village. We definitely want to return.
Fantastic - will definitely visit again

We absolutely loved our stay at Tobacconist Farm! Lucy is brilliant - she made us feel at home and was very helpful and fun. She helped us get a taxi when we couldnt find one, which saved us and gave us some great recommendations. Her son Will was great as well - helped us with our EHU and arranged firewood for us. We had 2 pitches next to each other which was perfect for our giant 6 man tent, campervan and another tent, still with loads of room for our bbq, bonfire and an eating area. Facilities were great - just what you need. The site was lovely and quiet with no children and we could play our lawn games and spread out nicely without impacting anyone else. The donkeys were cute too. Would definitely come again with my family (all adults).

We stayed two nights on Tobacconist farm. We needed a place to stay as we were going to Gifford's Circus in Minchinhampton. So pleased to have found this wonderful site. It was spot on in every way, will definitely go back again. Lucy, who owns the site is a real character bombing around on her quad bike, she manages the site really well. I inadvertently booked in the backpacker area but she happily was able to change us to the main site with water and electrics. The site is well placed to walk into the village for a good shop and a friendly pub. There are also buses for Stroud and Tetbury. I would highly recommend this site to anyone who wants a quiet site with good facilities and access to walks and excursions to pretty Gloucestershire towns.

Lovely site if you are looking for a chilled and relaxed adults only, plus dog friendly. Lucy is very helpful, we enjoyed 3 nights here as 2 couples (tent and motorhome) had 2 generous pitches together with water and hookup. Good facilities plus optional firepit. 5 min walk to pub and shop. What's not to love!!

Beautifully kept and well thought out site, offering space to individual campers. One of the best and cleanest shower blocks and kitchen area we've seen. Perfect location with everything in walking distance. Lucy was very accommodating. This is definitely one we would return to and highly recommend..

What a lovely site, walking distance from Minchinhampton too, with it's lovely pub and shops. The site is very peaceful and has a lovely setting, with caravan/motorhome pitches on the larger than average size. Level field in most places. Great facilities for such a small site (only around 20 pitches that are used). Showers and toilets are very clean and well kept, lots of lovely hot water too. Outside sink and washing line, fridge freezers for those who are camping, and a free of charge washing machine for anyone's use. Lucy has three lovely donkeys too, who came to say hello every morning - essential that you take some carrots with you! We had a lovely stay at Lucy's site. She was very chatty and welcoming and very happy to help and give advice on the nearby towns. Some tips: - The Crown Inn in Minchinhampton is lovely (new landlord just taken over and although we didn't eat here, some people we met said it was lovely). Great little beer garden too. - Nailsworth and Stroud are really sweet little towns with Nailsworth having lots of local shops and businesses. - Great bike riding/dog walking on the Minchinhampton common too. - The Ragged Cot nearby has lovely outside beer gardens and is a lovely place to stop for a gin and tonic too. Overall a beautiful part of the country and very well placed for visiting nearby towns and villages. We would highly recommend this site for a peaceful and relaxing break/holiday.
