Bedgebury Camping is a family and dog friendly pop-up campsite located in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just 15 minutes from the picturesque town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Tents, trailer tents and campfires are all welcome on the site's non electric grass pitches, located across the site's expansive 70 acres of farmland. You can relax and unwind on site with a morning coffee or evening cocktail from the onsite bar - Box 28!

About Bedgebury Camping

This family-friendly pop-up campsite is set on a working farm and offers an informal and rustic take on weekend-only camping. Located on the edge of the pretty Kent village of Goudhurst, this is the place to stay if you want a beautiful and spacious campsite. All 100 non electric camping pitches are on grass, with access to all pitches requiring off-road driving and walking. Each pitch welcomes up to 12 guests and with acres of space, the site is ideal for family gatherings, larger group meet-ups and couples. The site has a drinks outlet which serves coffee during the day and cocktails in the evening. The frozen margaritas are ideal on a sunny day! You will also be close to many attractions in Kent with Go Ape and Bewl Water, an aqua park and a watersports centre, all just a ten minute drive away, you will have plenty to keep you busy. Campfires are allowed, and one fire pit per group is provided free of charge. Up to two dogs are welcome per pitch. Please note that the site is only suitable for tents and campervans, with no motorhomes or caravans permitted.

Facilities and amenities

Facilities include eco and flushable toilets, hot showers, a children's bathroom, a baby change facility, communal washing up sinks, fridges and a freezer. There are fire pits along with hire items including cooking grills and family games and a small onsite shop.

The pop-up cafe BOX28, sells coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening, along with a communal area with canopies and seating. There are visiting food trucks on most Saturday evenings. The nearest pub and shop to the site are The Star and Eagle and Burgess Stores, both a 20 minute walk away. On selected weekends, music events are organised and take place in the campsite's communal area.

Guests are welcome to check-in from 11am until 9pm, please advise the site if you are delayed. Check out is due before noon on your last day.

Yes, four-legged friends are welcome to join you on your stay with up to two allowed per pitch. Please note breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted.

Raised BBQs and campfires are permitted, perfect for al fresco dining in the evenings.
