Lovely owners and staff, cafe and bar lovely food. Didn't park our new van on field because it was muddy due to all the rain recently, so stayed in car park. Had a walk up to campsite field and views were amazing with a nice scenic countryside walk to Tildeswell village. Staff are very friendly and helpful, entertainment on Saturdays in separate room with another bar which was good.

Great site, we will definitely be returning. The location is good, and it is easy to join the Monsal Trail, with a lovely pub by the river nearby. On-site shop, cafe, bar, and shower facilities are all brilliant. We stayed on a very muddy Easter weekend, but the farmer was quickly on hand to tow us all out and get us on our way home easily with no fuss. Thank you and see you again Beltonville.

Brilliant campsite, superb facilities and great location for walking. There was a huge amount of rain while we visited and the indoor barn/bar area was brilliant to enjoy the live music in the evening while staying warm and dry. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Considering the amount of mud caused by the rain, the facilities were very clean. We can't wait to come back!

Does everything it says for a no frills stay and the bonus of campfires. The attached cafe is excellent, 5 star breakfast.

Staff were very friendly and attentive, the café/farm shop was fantastic and the meals were very tasty. Facilities were ok and clean and it was convenient for local walks and attractions. We went mid November so unfortunately, as the campsite allows cars on the grass pitch area, it was extremely muddy. We found it difficult to find a less muddy spot which, ultimately, led to everything being caked in mud. There are no flat pitches, so, if you're fussy and don't want to pitch on a hill then this campsite won't be for you. Overall, an ok spot.
Long weekend

Brief weekend in the Peaks on a site allowing firepits. Friendly welcome despite late arrival. Much of the site is gently sloping but I got a flat pitch with a good view. Plenty of very hot water but I felt that £1 for a 4 minute shower was a bit steep in a £25/night campsite. Shower/toilet/washing facilities very basic. Good shop/bar/café, which I did not use. Very much a working farm with a campsite fitted into part of it. Functional but not luxurious in any way.
Great facilities with friendly staff

Great facilities and friendly staff. Toilets could have done with more regular cleaning and filling of paper towels, everything else was spot on. Highly recommend and will be returning.

We loved our stay at Beltonville Farm. My partner is now a camping convert! Entertainment was brilliant, we had Elvis in the big barn on Sat night. Two bars on site, toilets, showers, washing facilities and beautiful views. Charlotte who runs the place is lovely and really accommodating/easygoing. We will definitely return! Thanks for having us.
Super sunny weather forecast so booked last minute camping trip

Friendly, hardworking staff, great food, big portions. Yummy ice cream, especially loved the lemon drizzle flavour. Showers and toilets always really clean. Beautiful views down the valley and close to some great walks along the river Wye. Lots of pubs to choose from nearby, and the bonus of an Elvis tribute on Saturday night! Will return.

Stayed for 5 nights. Site was almost empty at the beginning and end of our stay and busy over the weekend. Still plenty of space. Stunning views and lovely to be able to pitch anywhere and have a fire. We had breakfast in the Cowshed Café on our last day and bought burgers from the small farm shop for our BBQ. Well located for walking, sightseeing and cycling.
Lovely spot and lovely site but expensive

Nice peaceful site. Walking distance (down a steep road) from the pub at Millers Dale. However, was £25 for one person in very small tent with no car. This was over twice the cost of comparable sites and then I had to pay £1 for a shower, which turned into £2 for the shower as the first shower did not function. Another site had free showers and another site was 40p for the shower. The bottom line, however, is I had a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
Such a beautiful, open site

What a wonderful site. Great views down the valley, quiet whilst we were there so lots of space around you, and a lovely greeting by staff in the farm shop (so friendly and helpful). Perfectly located for breath-taking walks from the campsite with a great pub (The Angler) just 15 mins walk along a beautiful river. To top it all… the sun shone :) We didn't get a chance to use the farm shop café but found the farm shop useful to replenish our supplies. There was not much choice of meat though but I presume it had been busy and stock was low… I was told they have a delivery on a Thursday. All in all, this is a fabulous site, with great views and a relaxed friendly vibe. We loved it and will definitely return again.
What a gem

A great campsite in a lovely idyllic location close to the lovely Tideswell village and not too far from Bakewell. Lovely views from our tent, we managed to secure a space overlooking the little valley. Staff are very welcoming and were always friendly throughout our stay. The farm shop on site had all you needed and had lovely local produce. We were lucky to have entertainment over the bank holiday which was a great addition. The facilities (toilets, showers and washing up) were good and weren't too busy. I can imagine these getting very busy if the weather was warmer and more campers onsite. The café and food inside the barn we did find a little overpriced. There were portaloos in the higher campsite, which were great, so we didn't always have to walk to the main facilities. However unfortunately, some inconsiderate campers left these unusable at times which was frustrating, understandably, this was not the campsite's fault. There were a lot of younger camp goers who didn't follow the campsites rules of no loud music and being respectful to other campers after 10.30pm and were up 'till all hours, which wasn't pleasant for most I imagine. My only suggestion here would be for the campsite to have a few walk arounds of the camp to check that rules are being adhered to. Overall we had a lovely time and would return. Thank you.

Just had a great stay at Beltonville, will definitely return as the location is great. Really friendly and helpful staff. It was great to have the cafe and shop onsite. Close to Monsall trail and good pub where we had lunch (Anglers Rest).

This site has a beautiful situation and is handy for a number of local villages and towns. There's a pub within walking distance as well as a bar on site. Breakfast at the café was good and reasonably priced. Our only issue was the cleanliness of the toilets. There was no loo roll in the temporary toilets from our arrival, to departure, and they were a bit smelly (we probably camped too close). The main toilet blocks were good until a number became unusable on our second day and didn't get cleaned until well into our 3rd. When we asked that the temporary toilets were cleaned, we were told it wasn't their job.
Fabulous
