Great location. Toilets were clean. Had all we needed for our couple of nights stay. The super café was a bonus.

A great campsite! We stayed to do Mam Tor 14k hike and it was a perfect location. 20 mins from Mam Tor and Castleton. The campsite actually has an amazing view. The showers are really hot and powerful and both the showers and the toilets are so clean. Real toilets also not portaloos. Did not have to queue for bathrooms. About a 10 min queue for showers. Campsite has a nice vegan breakfast with oat milk and very reasonably priced. Very friendly and easy going. Mix of families and young people and lots of nice fires. Not noisy at night at all. Lots of fresh water refill stations. Overall a great campsite, would really recommend.

Good location and nice site, fairly clean. Only annoying thing was that people were loud until very late, someone should enforce the rule about being quiet after a certain time.

Very happy with my weekend stay here. The campsite and facilities were very good and the family who run it were welcoming, helpful and polite. Lovely hot water, showers, toilets, washing up area. On site farm shop and café were nice and it looks like there will be an on site bar soon too! Highly recommend this site with beautiful views too.

Great camp park with a little farm shop, you can get some of your equipment for camping, BBQ and cleaning there. The shower is nice and warm, and clean, so are the toilets. There is space to wash the dishes. BBQ and bonfires are allowed, but make sure you don't use disposables as it could burn the grass. Overall a great place to camp, and lots of amenities.

What an adorable campsite with clean facilities, a super restaurant and a farm shop. Everyone was very friendly and kind. Fabulous views across the dales. Great location for getting around. Ideal location between Buxton and Bakewell. Very good value. Somewhere I would highly recommend. Loved the goats and baby lambs.

Fantastic. Nice people, nice place, nice views. Peaceful, pleasant. The cafe wasn't too bad either. And the showers were free, which is as it should be! 10 out of 10 :)
Nice site on a working farm

Basic facilities, but a decent view. If you have children then the farm animals on site are a bonus. Handy having the farm shop on site, but the selection was pretty small and it didn't sell milk (or at least, they didn't have any for the 3 days we were there). Café part of the shop did tasty food, but I felt it was on the pricy side.

Great location, endless walks right from site, the loveliest staff who went out of their way to be helpful to everyone, great farm shop with lovely produce, café, bar and live music. Site was let down by water problems, so if you were camping, or didn't have an all singing all dancing van, no showers, drinking water or washing up facilities. Sinks for washing up were child friendly in height, but unfriendly if you're average adult height, or above. Not good for your back. Broken lock on a shower door - My poor mum was walked in on twice! Would we go back? Yes! Because the staff were outstanding and even when things aren't 100%, that's what matters. Site owner does need to rectify the water issues quickly though, or not accept such high numbers.

The site and the staff were great, views were great too. The one thing that let it down were the facilities, they need more available - only 4 showers, 8 toilets (4 male, 4 female) 4 sinks - and one had very poor water pressure, it would take a lifetime to wash any pots in. The weekend we used the site the queue for the showers was ridiculous, then not long after the showers broke, and they were out of action for a full day. To then be followed by no hot water at the sinks or male toilets. The only way to get hot water was from the female toilets, and transfer it into the sinks to wash the pots. The site just needs more facilities to accommodate how busy they get, and maybe back ups in place in the event of a hot water break down. I'd still go again as it's the first time we've visited this site and this could have just been a one off but I certainly urge for the site to get some more facilities in place.
Great location but not enough facilities

This is a large, well-positioned campsite which we visited for a bank holiday weekend with a groups of 4 families. The location is great with lots of walks from the campsite towards Monsal Head and Tideswell. There is loads of space on two huge fields and no allocated plots so you can just pitch where you like, which worked well for our group of four families. The shop and bar were great, if a little pricey. However, the weekend was spoiled by insufficient washing and toilet facilities. The small number of showers, wash-up sinks and female toilets for a large campsite was not good and just led to constant, long queues and many unhappy customers. There was also a problem with water supplies with no hot water in the wash-up for much of the weekend. The owners need to provide more facilities if they want to accept that many bookings over a bank holiday weekend. I hope they do as this would be a great campsite if it wasn't for that.

Beltonville Farm has some great facilities, especially the café and bar, where I enjoyed two excellent fried breakfasts. The showers were also excellent, powerful and hot. The site is very close to a busy road. My stay was spoilt by a group of young children who were very noisy and made the showers and toilets a mess. The toilets and showers also did not appear to be regularly serviced and only one of four toilet doors locked. I felt the price per night for a non-electric pitch was a little expensive. However, the facilities, especially the showers may offset this.

Me and my friend stayed and we had such a lovely time. The views from the site are unreal and the facilities were brilliant for the price. There is a wonderful cafe (with excellent service) and farm shop on site! Can’t wait to come back!

Me and 5 friends stayed here for a getaway and had the best time! It's the perfect combination campsite. You are camping in a field next to lambs and cows but have access to excellent facilities. The on-site café/bar is amazing and the staff are so lovely. Some greats walks close by and the night time entertainment was second to none! We will be returning!

Great spot, especially for families with children of walking age as it's nice and quiet but with a lovely cafe and farm shop. There's a walk directly from the site and not too far from other Derbyshire towns like Bakewell and Buxton. Not ideal for those with young babies as it's not a pram- friendly site, though if you have a carrier you'll be fine! Toilets were clean and showers one of the best I've experienced when camping - clean and high pressure instead of the usual dribble of water! Would recommend and go back myself.

A really lovely site with great views. The staff onsite were really friendly and helpful (even reopening the shop so we could get a bag of logs after we missed closing one night). The facilities were clean and well looked after. A great spot for good walks and pubs. We'll definitely be going back.

Fantastic location. We went everywhere on foot. Perfect for joining the Monsal trail. The Anglers Rest pub was an amazing find, short walk. Had an issue with the access onto the higher ground campsite after torrential rain and the amount of mud on the track up. Wasn't an issue for us as we walked everywhere from site. A lot of campervans got stuck and struggled to get off their pitch or back up in vehicles. Again, this was due to the sheer amount of rain. The owner helped tow them out in his tractor. Clean campsite, well organised. Did the job! We camped in a tent with beautiful views. The café on site was useful with lovely breakfasts. Facilities were clean and maintained well. We walked across the road down through the YHA and followed the track down to the river. Head right for the Anglers Rest pub or straight over the little bridge and up to join to the Monsal trail. Will definitely stay again. Being up high was perfect for our large breed dog as there was a nice breeze, which I'm hoping will make it suitable in the warmer summer months. Very dog friendly.

Great site with glorious views down the Dale. Perfect for cycling the Monsal Trail and walking distance to the river and pub. The facilities are top notch with an onsite shop, bar, café and even a chocolate shop! The showers are without doubt the best showers I've ever used on a site! Would definitely recommend to families and friends.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Staff were so lovely, helpful and welcoming! Unfortunately, we had to leave a day earlier than planned because of weather. Would definitely come again and definitely recommend! Thank you for a lovely stay!
