This is a a beautiful campsite, with well kept grounds, lovely clean dish washing, and bathroom facilities. Lovely area for dog walking and great park for the kids. The only thing lacking was a shop. Nothing major, just somewhere to get basics like bread, milk etc. Otherwise fantastic would highly recommend and we will be back! Thank you ☺️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful site, with mature planting of trees, hedging and lots of colourful flowers. The site is not large but is spacious, giving that more restful feel. Dog friendly and most campers brought their dogs along! It is also perfect for younger families, with plenty opportunity for safe cycling around the small site and there's a good playground too. Ample showers, toilets, laundry facilities in 2 separate buildings. Toilet/shower blocks are very clean although cubicles are a little dated. This site is perfectly located for visiting many pretty Cotswold villages, and a short drive to the city of Bath. I would certainly have no hesitation in returning.

We chose this site as a base to visit Bath. What a peaceful place to set up. Good size pitch and I loved how there was a mixture of tents amongst caravans and campers.

Beautiful well kept small campsite! Toilet and showers were clean but outdated, but they have plans to refurb next year! I would 100% return! They maintain the pitches beautifully and the playground and field was a bonus!

We choose this site as we were travelling to do a park run. The location was great and the grounds were well kept. Unfortunately, of the 2 toilet blocks, only 2 showers were working. This wasn't great with the site being nearly full.
Very good, however

The campsite is very well-located, the pitches are spacious and very quiet, away from the road, but an effort has to be made for the cleanliness of the showers/toilets/lavatories.

A well established site set in a well laid out way. Facilities included showers, washing up, laundry and waste disposal. Children's play area was new. Separate men and women toilets. Laundry facility consists of one washing and one drying machine hence queuing to use. Suggest 2 of each would be reasonable.
Quiet resting venue

Amazing site. Well looked after. Toilet block being updated at end of this season but they were absolutely fine and useable. Wardens were helpful and friendly. Location good. Started as a couple and granddaughter (aged 2) came and joined for weekend with mum, so suitable for kids.

Very clean and tidy. Friendly and pleasant staff. Will come again. Would like to have the same pitch as was away from the main pitches, thus the dogs did not bark during our stay.

This is a fantastic tranquil park that's only a short walk from the village of Lacock. The park is well maintained regarding hedges, trees and grass, and the facilities were spotless when it came cleanliness. The wardens were extremely helpful and always ready to offer help and advice whatever the time of day. There is absolutely nothing negative to say! We will most certainly use the park again.
Absolutely charming and peaceful!

Little stop over on our way back from Glastonbury 2024 (had the best time of our lives) randomly found this beautiful campsite and it didn't disappoint. Clean, peaceful and one of the best showers of my life (because of Glasto) Thank you and I hope to visit again :) Craig & Merijn.

Our first impression before we arrived was very good as communication was friendly and helpful when we were asking to come a day early. They were almost full (not surprising, it's a great site) but they made things work to get us our extra night. When we arrived there was a board with our pitch number to help us find it. The pitch size was very generous and the ground flat with the electric supply close. There were two drinking water taps very close and not many to share them with as our small field only had six pitches on it. Surrounded by beautiful countryside too. The toilet block is heated and kept very clean. It's a short walk into Lacock which is beautiful. We're already planning our return trip and would definitely recommend it. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

My Husband and I stayed for 2 nights. The campsite was very well located, with a pretty village within walking distance. It was also very close to several attractions. The pitches were nicely spaced apart, the grounds were well kept and there was a large area for dog walking. Unfortunately there were a few things that let the site down. There was no welcome when we arrived, no information given about facilities. The facilities were very basic and toilets & showers were not particularly clean. Our pitch was right next to a children's play area which had a very annoying squeaky swing that continued on until gone 10pm on the first night of our stay. When we departed, there was nowhere to dispose of grey water waste. If all facilities were upgraded, this would be a lovely base to explore the Cotswolds.
Site's response
Thanks for much for taking the time to write a review, we really appreciate it. We'll make sure the squeaky swing gets addressed, thanks for drawing this to our attention. Apologies you felt like you weren't given information about the facilities. This is all in an online guest book, emailed both when guests book, and the day before arrival. We hope to see you again in the future

Perfect location, perfect getaway! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful campsite. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful both before we arrived answering email enquiries and requests and during our stay. We can't wait to visit again.. A short walk from the gorgeous village of Laycock, lovely country pubs and the goodies in the village shop were.so yummy! Can't recommend this site enough, whether for a group of friends or families. Very child friendly but the specific ball sports fields and play areas keep the site lovely and peaceful. Best of both worlds! Thank you Picadilly for a wonderful stay, see you again soon!

A lovely camping park for caravans, motorhomes and tents. It's well maintained and has all the facilities you need. The only thing I would say is the showers and toilets are dated but clean, but there is a sign saying that they are being refurbished for next season.

The site is quiet and peaceful and kept clean and tidy. We camped in a tent and the washing up area was a long walk away, but otherwise it was a great site. Good for exploring the Cotswolds or a nice site to stop over when on your way to somewhere else. Would stay again.

Beautifully laid out, spacious campsite, close to towns and areas of interests. Woken up by bird song and sheep every morning, a fantastic relaxing week stay. Facilities were excellent. Only one small negative, we camped close to the septic tank and smells of raw sewage. I would recommend this campsite and will return again one day.

This is a fantastic site and our 2nd visit. Staff are very friendly and communication is excellent. Pitches are large and there is enough space between neighbours. The only downfall this year was the showers as flooded over and took me ages to clear it up - I didn't feel that I could call in the wardens as it was a late shower. This is walking distant to the beautiful Lacock village or if you fancy at the end of the road a car boot sale. The local farm in Lacock sells fresh eggs, which are a must.

Very good campsite even if I would have preferred to be welcomed by the managers. Very quiet, clean, sanitary facilities.
