Things to do on site and in the Haverfordwest area
A local newspaper guide is given to you on arrival to help you plan your stay. Long days by the coast are sure to be in your future, as you're walking distance from the coastal path with lovely views to the beaches of Druidston Haven, Broad Haven, Little Haven, Newgale, Solva, Dale and St. Brides Bay - all excellent for exploring.
Once the sun goes down, you'll find that stargazing is incredible in this country area.
See the sights in the county town of Haverfordwest, an easy 6 miles from this base, or pretty St David's and its historic cathedral is only 15 miles.
If it gets a bit too windy on the coast, head inland and explore the Cleddau Estuary and the villages of Lawrenny, Cresswell Quay and Llangwm.
The area is great for surfing, sailing, swimming, paragliding, bird watching (you won't want to miss the puffins between May and June on Skomer), or even exploring the caves, coves and quays.
Go further afield to the Preseli Hills, Cardigan, and the north coast. Narberth, Carmarthen and the south coast with Tenby, Saundersfoot and Amroth are all ideal.
