Fab little campsite, cut our break a day short as we didn't fancy braving the forecast. Showers and toilets lovely and clean. Excellent value for money. Lovely breakfast in the café next door to site. We made the most of the bad weather and still enjoyed the break away. Will definitely return. We all helped each other out onsite sorting tents out in the dreadful condition.

No issues, toilets were immaculate and always being cleaned. Pitches were flat and grass was cut short.

I couldn't fault the facilities and the cleanliness. Honestly, the cleanest I have experienced. Nice showers, no shortage of hot water or toilet rolls etc. This is an ideal site for a base if you want to explore.
Very good site and it suited us with having our two dogs

Very nice site, especially having dogs where it was easy to exercise them in the field. Quiet site and easy walk into town. We will definitely be back.

A fantastic site situated next to the rugby field. There was a game on Saturday, the bar was open and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The facilities are excellent and immaculate, a great location for flitting between historical sites and wee villages.

What a lovely, friendly, clean and welcoming site. It was a very small site, it was quite just nice to let my 2 little ones run free. Might not be one for you if you can't make your own fun. But perfect for my little family, definitely be going back.

The site is a very small patch beside a rugby pitch, set at the bottom of rolling hills. It's just outside the small town of Langholm which was very quiet but a nice town, the Co-op was well stocked for all camping needs. There is quite a bit of space between pitches, so plenty of room for everyone and kids. We had a great time playing on the rugby pitch with the kids. The facilities are very clean and we saw someone cleaning it almost every time we needed to use it, which was great for such a small site. On Saturday, we were able to watch a local rugby derby which was great, they even open a small bar to buy a pint or two. Honestly, this is the best campsite we've found at a great price too, unlike others where you are paying upward of £60 a night, it was roughly that for 4 nights here with electric hook up. Two small downsides though, not much space to put your toothbrush or bag when you go to use the bathroom to get clean, and the bridge on the way in is a little noisy but it doesn't bother me at all really. We will be back, and in greater numbers!

Lovely site, loathe to say how good it is in case it becomes too popular.

Good level hardstanding pitch with EHU. Just a small site, friendly staff also looking after the rugby club grounds came over to look after us. Toilet block all very clean. Short 15 minute walk down the road into local town.

We honestly can't complain. Lovely small site to camp on. It is very basic - small area for camping tents and vans, toilets clean and modern, kitchen clean and modern. You are in next to the rugby ground but nothing was on during our visit, so no issues with that. We had a large plot (no.6) which was great. Word of advice, if it's due to rain, set up your tent further forward nearer the pavement as the back, next to the wooden log puddled with water. It was very heavy rain though. Very quiet and peaceful. The bridge is a little noisy when cars are crossing but again this wasn't an issue just noticed. Close walk into the small little town where the locals were very friendly and very chatty and welcoming in the pubs. Our dog also loved it and was welcomed everywhere. Would visit again - 10/10 for what we wanted of this visit.

Would have given it 5/5 for everything, apart from the guy who insisted on strimming around the campsite on a balmy, quiet Sunday evening when people were trying to relax. This really should have been done late morning through to early afternoon when most people are off the site. Apart from that, everything was great! Facilities spotless (bit of a walk to get to but it's fine). Pitches flat and generous. Easy walk into beautiful Lanholm. Would stay again but I would hide the strimmer first.
Fabulous!

Facilities spotless, pitches were great, all on flat ground. Area is lovely, 5 minute walk into Langholm. Large rugby field for kids to play on, and really safe, off the main road. The people who run the site are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend, we will be booking again.

A lovely well-kept site close to Langholm town. Good pitches with electric hook-ups. Can get a bit crowded at the weekend, but most campers left on Sunday. Shower block had good facilities for men and women. Good showers and toilets. Location is very convenient for local walks and good-sized Co-op for supplies. Had a lovely meal in Douglas Hotel on the 1st evening. Again walking distance from site but we drove in (lazy us!). Info Hub in town is a hive of local information including local walks - well worth a visit and chat to the lovely people who run it to see what's in the area.

We were only there for 2 nights. Wanted to see the singer in the club but it was heaving, with no seats available, so that was a disappointment. Location to town was pretty good but hardly anything open on Sunday. The weather all day Sunday was atrocious but that's not the site's fault. Could do with a little convenience shop for supplies. Ideal for a quiet stay. Will be back.

As with all camping stays, the weather helps make it easy. 2 hour drive from Paisley area, lovely tidy site and 20 minutes easy walk to Langholm. Arrived, pitched tent, connected hook up to electric and sorted. Toilets, two showers, two sinks for washing up. Also, the club onsite was open on the Saturday night, singer was decent, cans of lager, Guinness, bottles of wine. No shop on site but as said 20 minutes walk and 5 mins drive to Langholm shops. Great 2 day break at the beginning beginning of August.

Held a rally here over 4 nights. The new facilities are fantastic and the team couldn't be more helpful. The owners of all 34 vans attending were super impressed with the site and location. Already booked in for next year. What more needs to be said?

Nice level site for tent with electric. Quiet of an evening and a nice walk to village and other local walks in the area. Facilities clean and well managed, people very friendly. Only nit pick would be a shelf in wash area to put toiletries on, and the wooden bridge at entrance is very noisy.

This campsite is run by volunteers and is probably one of the best kept we've stayed on. The toilet block is brand new with fantastic showers. A short walk into town for lovely shops and pubs and a well stocked Co-op for all your essentials.

Just had 5 nights at this little gem of a campsite. Everybody was so friendly, facilities were spotless, plenty of wildlife about and great walks for dogs. To top it off, we managed 5 days of sunshine and only one night of rain, we will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Stayed for the week for Langholm Common Riding and had a brilliant time. Campsite has been revamped with the new toilets and showers and the hardstanding pitches. Staff are always very friendly and helpful and it turns into a little camping community. Facilities are kept very clean and any problems addressed quickly. They also share a variety of businesses in Langholm so we were well fed by the amazing cafes and pubs in Langholm. Can't wait for next year and thank you to everyone who made our stay amazing.

Had a great stay at Ewes Water Caravan and Camping Park over the last week. The new shower and toilet facilities are great. The pitches are spacious. The staff are lovely and very friendly, nothing is a problem for them. The site is quiet and a ten minute walk into the town centre. We had a lovely lunch at Whitshiels Café and also The Buccleuch Centre Coffee Shop. Treated ourselves to a cake at First Bite with Beattie's Bakes which was amazing. Had numerous Pelosis ice creams, which is the best ice cream and had the most delicious take away from The Douglas Hotel. The Common Riding on Friday topped off an amazing week. Thank you all.

Absolutely outstandingly fantastic little campsite. 5-10 minute walk into the main town with everything you could ever need. Michael and Kerry make you feel extremely welcomed and instantly, you become part of the family. A huge rugby pitch is ideal for the kids to play and wow, what a set up in the facilities. The showers and toilets were amazing. Clean, tidy, secure and organized. A must visit. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.
