About Ewes Water Caravan and Camping Park
Situated on the outskirts of the quaint market town of the "Muckle Toun" of Langholm, this family-friendly campsite is part of Langholm Rugby Club's grounds and is surrounded by woodland as well as the lovely Ewes Water. There are a total of 24 pitches, all with electric hook up (ten of which are hardstanding with EcoGrids), welcoming tents, caravans, motorhomes and campervans. There's plenty of space for all, and the camping field is bordered by the picturesque Ewes Water River. A peaceful site immersed in nature, this is a great destination or stop off point for anyone looking to explore Scotland or England, situated at the base of the community owned Tarras Valley Nature Reserve and just seven miles from the border and less than a half hour's drive from Northumberland's stunning National Park. For cycling enthusiasts, the site is located on the new Kirkpatrick C2C, offering 250 miles of uninterrupted joy for experienced cyclists from Stranraer on the west coast to Eyemouth on the east coast. The 7stanes mountain biking centre, located at Newcastleton, is only ten miles away, with the journey taking you through the Tarras Valley Nature Reserve. The site even offers a bike wash and repair station for no extra cost. BBQs are allowed as are campfires within the caravan site. Dogs are very welcome but must be kept on leads within the site itself. There is ample space within the grounds of the rugby club to exercise dogs.
Ewes Water Caravan and Camping Park is open from 28/03 to 30/09 in 2024 and from 28/03 to 05/10 in 2025.

The beautiful Northumberland National Park is a short 30 minute drive away, with rolling hills, starry night skies and fascinating wildlife it's the perfect spot for nature lovers.
Enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the beautiful Walled Garden at Arkleton, just ten minutes away, where you can pick-your-own flowers, and indulge in homemade cake and coffee made by owner Kate who is always happy to chat about the gardens.
If it's entertainment you're after than look no further than The Buccleuch Centre, Langholm's own events and entertainment centre, only a 15 minute walk away!
The iconic Hadrian's Wall (45 minutes) is of course a must see during your time here. With a fascinating history, the partly ruined wall makes for a lovely walking route or picnic spot, spanning 75 miles from coast to coast.
The Lake District, England's largest National Park and World Heritage Centre, is less than an hour away offering a wide range of activities and attractions including England's highest mountain - Scafell Pike.
For cycling enthusiasts, the site is located on the Kirkpatrick C2C, south of Scotland's Coast to Coast on-road route.
