Amazing place, everything you need on site. Shop with very good pricing, very clean toilets and showers, games room for the kids and a laundry room. They also had a breakfast van and a pizza van at weekends, all good prices. It was lovely to see the peacocks roaming around. 2 lovely pubs within walking distance, lovely staff and very friendly. Would definitely stay there again, the kids loved it.

We had a great stay at Barn Farm. The surrounding countryside and choice of walks directly from the site are fantastic, as are all the staff. Well done!
A little gem!

As always, an amazing site, clean, well maintained and even on a busy August weekend, not overbooked. The toilets, showers and washing facilities are kept clean and tidy. The staff are great, very helpful and polite. Wonderful walks just across the road, and a great pub within easy walking distance. We will 100% visit again next year, and do recommend to our friends and family!

Easy going, welcoming staff. Clear verbal & written instructions on arrival. Toilet & shower facilities clean & water nice n hot. On-site shop, launderette & games room. We enjoyed the benefit of a visiting wood fired pizza trader. Breakfast van on Saturday & Sunday morning with an ice cream van doing rounds of the fields early evening. It was my granddaughter's 1st camping experience and she absolutely loved it, especially the on-site play area sited on the family camping field. Only thing was the outside ping pong table could do with replacing as is exposed to the elements.

The site is in a good location for walks from site and has all you need. Pubs down the road but limited menu on offer. Not a lot of space from caravans and campervans to tents and tents are not quiet, lots of children running around but our fault not theirs. If you like lots going on and peacocks waking you up at 5.30 go for it, but not for us, sorry.

Lovely, clean and quiet campsite. Plenty of room for pitching and loads of space on campsite. Lots of clean showers and toilets. Shop and washing machine a bonus. Good walks from campsite and pubs that serve food within walking distance. Beautiful countryside and the sun came out for us. Perfect.
2nd visit and we would stay again!

We have stayed before and loved it so much that we stayed again for longer. We use the caravan area with our young family. Site is clean, well looked after and the kids love it. It's also in an excellent position for visiting Bakewell, Buxton and Chatsworth.
A wonderful farm type setting, lots of facilities

Peacocks roaming free- mostly sticking to the farm buildings. Really friendly place. Make sure you arrive by the recommended route as the other local roads are really narrow and twisty. Looked good for camping but most fields had a slope.

Brilliant site perfectly located for exploring Derbyshire Dales. Very clean facilities and wonderful hot showers (benchmark for a decent site). Discrete site cleaning and grounds maintenance, friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Brilliant site! Can't recommend it enough. Storm ☔️ & rain the whole time & loved every minute. Well looked after, hot showers, immaculate toilets, lots of pubs close by within driving distance which serve food. Can't wait to visit again.

Brilliant stay, cater for everyone, very clean. The pizza evenings are great and recommend you try them out. Just be aware that unfortunately, there are not many flat pitches, but if you are at the top of field, the views are amazing. Will definitely be going back. Thank you.
Overall, a good campsite

Our stay at Barn Farm Campsite was nice. Good footpaths from the campsite which we enjoyed being dog owners and having children with lots of energy. Play park was good and some games on the front of the campsite (nearer to reception) a bit dated but still ok to play on. Peacocks wandering around campsite, which was nice to see. We found toilets, shower, washing up areas clean and tidy. Showers were always nice and hot! A little shop onsite, which is handy. Ok so a couple of points from us. Lady in reception was not particularly friendly or helpful, which is a shame. The field we were on was field 2, which we didn't realise, as we thought we were on field 1, but there was no clear signage nor was it made clear in reception. We weren't asked to move. Also, it was on a hill, so camping space was limited as naturally want to try be on flatter ground.

Poor arrival system, nonchalant, unhelpful staff. The only toilet block needs updating and was a long walk from our pitch. Certain member of staff thought it was okay to drive their utility vehicle, around the site, recklessly fast and drift it around corners. My complaint to reception was met with the nonchalant reply, "yeah ok". Wouldn't recommend and won't return.

Brilliant location, excellent price, facilities kept very clean. The only slight downer was the condition of the games room and our side toys. People need to respect the items more, a lot were broken or didn't work but I suspect this is more to misuse. Staff were helpful and always busy doing something. Touring bar and food were also brilliant at the weekend.
Excellent and well equipped campsite

We have just got home from a fantastic few days at Barn Farm. The facilities were clean and hot water plentiful. The open fronted barn was a really handy place to eat in when it was raining! We would definitely recommend this site.

Park and games were great for kids. Facilities clean. Fridge and freezer were a great idea. Pizza van was a fab idea. They're delicious, but beware they are very popular so there will be a long wait!

We come here each year, 3 generations of family, for a weekend get together. The site is clean and tidy, rules aren't too strict but are in place and the toilet/shower block is always clean. The wash up facilities are good, if guests are considerate for others that is (which sadly some are not). Some weekends are very busy as there are additional activities on, so if you want to avoid that check the website. Likewise if you're into that sort of thing, book! We've done both kinds 😉 Local to the site are 2 pubs and miles of good walks.
Great family stay!

Lovely place to stay! A few games on the green for kids, peacocks dotted around and a great little playground. Nice and peaceful, whenever any teens got rowdy the security put a stop to it pretty quickly as they walked around. We are first time campers and it ended up being a great choice. The only thing that was unfortunate for us was we ran out of gas and the shop was closed. The number given to call someone to it wasn't answered, so no brews for us from 5:30pm Saturday to 10am Sunday, gutted! Just one of those things. (On the same note, absolute god send that the pizza van was there as we were in the middle of cooking! Loved the pizza van!!) Great location, lovely village pub and great value for money. Would definitely visit again!
