Things to do when camping in the Lincolnshire Wolds

Very much farming country, the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB is a beautiful range of chalk hills to explore on foot, by bike and on horseback. The 69-mile Lindsey Trail is particularly popular.

The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway at Ludborough is Lincolnshire's only full sized steam railway and a great way to see the area, while lovers of Tennyson's poetry should visit his birthplace, Somersby.

The towns of Louth, Woodhall Spa, Horncastle, Caistor and Alford are also well worth exploring.
