About Holgates Silverdale Holiday Park

The park makes a perfect base for a family adventure in Silverdale, situated just south of the Lake District. From the site, you can explore local sandy beaches and the charming village of Silverdale, known for its wildlife and beautiful scenery. A 35 minute drive will take you to Windermere where you can explore the lake and enjoy plenty of activities. The site offers spacious grass pitches for campers and hardstanding pitches for tourers, each with a 16 amp electric hook up and access to site facilities and free WiFi. Please note, that the pitches may vary in size and are not allocated before arrival. For something a little more luxurious, why not choose a standard or luxury pod? Both pods sleep up to four people and have access to electricity, heating, WiFi and an outdoor space with seating. The luxury pod also features a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen equipped with a kettle, microwave, fridge and toaster and a brick built BBQ. Offering something a little different and even more comfortable, the site offers a number of Deluxe Dens which sleep up to six. Each den features a veranda area with rattan dining as well as an indoor dining area, bedding, kitchen, central heating, kitchen, TV, bathroom with shower and WiFi. The site also offers stays in Holiday Caravans which sleep up to six. These feature a double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, lounge area, bathroom with shower, kitchen, TV, central heating and WiFi. There is also an outside patio with picnic bench. Onsite, there is a café, restaurant and bar that serves delicious homemade food and drinks. A 20 minute walk will take you to Silverdale where you can find plenty of shops and the local village pub. There is plenty to keep your little ones busy too with a kid's play area, pitch and putt, bowling alley and arcade. There is also plenty of space in the park for ball game fun! Four-legged friends are welcome to join you for your stay. There is a designated walking field and plenty of coastal and woodland walks from the site. Please note, dogs are not allowed in the leisure park but are welcome on the terrace.

Facilities and amenities

Facilities include showers, toilets, disabled bathroom and water points. There is an onsite café, bar and restaurant which is open every day and serves a variety of homemade food and drinks. There is even an onsite ice cream parlour selling ice cream from the local dairy farm Walling's of Cockerham.

The site features a leisure complex with an air conditioned gym and swimming complex with two indoor heated pools, a spa pool, sauna, steam room and designated toddler pool. There is also a soft play area, pitch and putt, bowling alley and arcade, lots of entertainments for the family and children of all ages.

The site is located a 20 minute walk from the charming village of Silverdale. Here, you can find the village pub and plenty of shops selling local produce as well as a Co-op.
