Great stay again at Lee Meadow Farm. Owner Matt and all the staff in the front office, cycle hire and shop and kitchen are accommodating, friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The site as usual was clean and tidy and well maintained, as were the showers, toilets and wash-up areas. The farm shop was well- stocked with plenty of essentials and fresh baked and local produce, which will satisfy all needs. Breakfast, lunch and evening pizzas well prepared and good value. The addition of the well-stocked camping shop and new reception this year is a great idea for any essentials you may have forgotten, or just to add to your camping kit. During our stay, the site was very quiet and peaceful with everyone looking to the site rules. Cannot praise owner Matt enough for his management and commitment to the condition of the site. Will definitely return in future. Only one minor problem being the water in showers could be a little warmer. Have a great Summer Lee Meadow Farm Team.

Brilliant glamping break. Bell tent was very cosy but large I side so space was great. Fabulous facilities on site, including fire pit, farm shop, drinking water, charging battery for phones plus a room for hairdryer and straighteners. Lovely quiet spot but near all the facilities. The farm shop has everything, including great breakfast, lunch and pizzas. Would definitely stay again.

Great location for Woolacombe Bay- we had a 3 night stay over the bank holiday and were very impressed - warm welcome on arrival, pitches were a good size and toilets/showers both very good. Had an essentials shop onsite which also hires out fire pits and sells wood, there was also a farm shop which does pizzas and breakfast options including coffee and bacon sandwiches - it also stocks meats for bbqs, beers, cider and other basic supplies - it's not the cheapest, but quality was great so didn't mind paying for it You can also hire bikes and ride trails straight from the site. Will definitely be coming back next year.

Stayed here over august bank holiday with 3 others. It was very good price and we were able to book two weeks prior. It said online that check in was 6:30pm latest however we were concerned with bank holiday traffic from Bristol so gave them a ring and they informed us they were staying there till 8:30pm to give people a chance to get there, which was nice. We hired bikes which was ÂŁ20 for the day, which were good value for money. They also offer SUP, kayaks and surfboards. They have a farm shop there which does lovely hot chocolates, coffee and breakfast baguettes- they even sell vegetarian sausages. A short drive from Woolcomb beach (or you can walk) and a quick cycle to Ilfracombe, so great location. The only thing you have to be aware of is that you have to pay for tokens in order to use hairdryer/straighteners. Would recommend!

Had a really good stay. Great for families. Facilities great too. Only one negative point; the showers weren’t warm enough.
Site's response
Thank you for your review...the showers are on 24/7 at a constant temperature though as you were with us for the bank holiday, you may have been unlucky with your timing. I wish you had said when you were on site we could have addressed this and tried to sort it for you, although we didn't have any other complaints :-)
Brilliant campsite, will be back!

Excellent site with fully stocked farm shop. Good selection of pitches many on flat areas. Good access to water toilets and showers which are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. All staff very polite and knowledgeable of the local attractions. Site manager particularly friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again in future. The nightly pizzas from farm shop are to be strictly recommended.

We have had such a lovely 2 weeks this summer. The onsite cafe serves amazing coffee so I pretended I was glamping and started the day in style. The shop made catering / shopping easy with lovely local beers, milk, cheese etc. Laid back, very clean and just a lovely place to be. Perfectly placed for 10 min drives to 4 amazing beaches. We will be back next year!

They set the bar so high. Amazing welcome. Brilliant, friendly, professional 'go-out-of-your-way-to-help' staff, although I think 'staff' is a poor choice of a word - more like a family with lots of relatives looked after! Facilities were so clean - outstanding to see - also, wonderful to see people using the sanitizers and bathroom cleaning products everywhere - shower etc facilities manned and cleaned all the time. Food - do campsites get Michelin ratings? This needs one! Shop reasonably priced and not over the top. What struck us most was the sheer happiness and calmness across the site - happy adults, happy children just playing and enjoying the outdoors - just as children should be doing, happy doggies well looked after and also 'catered' for and on leashes. Fab location - we came on a bike and just loved we could hop on it and explore. It was an easy distance to beach - walking if you prefer to - also noticed a bus service that runs from the town to the next town and has a stop directly at the main road's turning to the site - some people ordered taxis to pick them up so it's super accessible wherever you go. On another note - the beach was top-notch, super clean, water you can literally just lie on top of and float! Visible coast and lifeguards. Our advice? Go to this site - you will be hard pushed to find a better one anywhere in the UK. Or abroad, come to that! One last thing - everybody respected the 'quiet times' asked for after 10:30pm. Brilliant.

The sites are large and well positioned and there was plenty of space for the children to play and we could easily keep an eye on them from our tent. Staff were friendly and the on site shops and cycle hire were very convenient and well stocked. Bathrooms were generally clean (I'm a bit particular with this) and cleaning materials were provided in each bathroom. There were also enough showers and toilets for the number of guests - they perhaps need more basins though? Everything was well maintained and you can see that management take a lot of pride in their property.

The location is lovely and it is so convenient to have the farm shop on site and open for essentials, as well as cooked food to order and drinks. Good value for money as all local produce. Large pitches - wish we'd taken a gazebo for more shade. Could be good to offer parasols/gazebos/fridges for hire. Great access to electricity. The site got pretty busy over the weekend, which couldn't really be helped, but facilities may have benefited from additional cleaning at these times. Plenty of loo roll and nice touches like shower gel in showers and washing up liquid in washing facilities. Useful wet suit wash too! All in all a wonderful stay and site. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We do try so hard with the showers and toilets and leave mops and cleaning spray everywhere for all to help themselves if things ever feel a little grubby. We clean 3 times a day and if anything worry that sometimes this feels like we are making people feel a bit uncomfortable showering and using the toilet. Hard to find a happy medium with everyone! Hope to see you soon.

We stayed in a bell tent which was lovely. Staff were always friendly and welcoming. The bell tent was well set up with bedding, a firepit and picnic table included. The on-site shop served really lovely breakfast, coffee and pizzas. The freezer for freezer blocks was also really helpful. We never had to wait for a shower or the toilet and facilities were generally always clean and well kept. The water was always warm. They would just benefit from an extra wizz round with a mop after peak shower time. Price wise, we have stayed in tents that cost less and had more facilities (like a gas stove and tea / coffee, cooking bits) provided, so we didn't feel it was the best value for money. Overall we really enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for our first family camping trip and really couldn't fault it! It did help that the weather was glorious, but the campsite was fantastic. We had a good sized pitch, the showers were hot and powerful and clean, the shop was brilliant especially as it sells breakfasts, lunches and pizzas in the evening and there's also a bike hire that we used, as well as other useful facilities. The staff were lovely- very helpful and friendly, even though they were so busy. Great location. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend!

Fabulous location, amazing views! Great farm shop and lovely staff. Will absolutely be returning! If I had to give constructive feedback I'd probably say that a few times, toilet facilities had no toilet paper and could at times have been cleaned a little more often. However as I said, this won't put us off and already planning to revisit. Thank you
Site's response
So sorry .... but as it rained while you stayed, keeping floors in shower blocks cleaned on an all grass camping site in the wet can be a bit tricky. We clean and top up toilet rolls at least 3 times a day during high season, I think you may have been unlucky with the toilet rolls :-)
