A lovely campsite. Everything has been thought of. Reception staff very helpful & friendly. Site well laid out with no facility too far away. The Farm Shop is reasonably priced & sold really good food. A couple of negatives. We stayed in a bell tent & were disappointed with the bedding in that the duvet & pillow were very thin & flimsy, they looked as if they were disposable. Luckily, I had taken extra throws. The only other negative was having to pay £1 to use the hair dryer. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay, would recommend.
Site's response
Thank you for your review and glad you enjoyed your stay. We only offer our bell tents during the summer season so supply lightweight bedding. You only need to ask and we would have provided extra. We do not charge bell tent bookings for the hair dryer. If you had mentioned it would not have been charged So glad you would return hope to see you again soon :-)

Served hot drinks and food, which was great as the weather sadly wasn’t good when we stayed. Staff helpful and friendly. Would stay there again.

Lee Meadow is a fantastic campsite. The on site facilities including the farm shop are absolutely brilliant. You can buy food to BBQ yourself or you have the option to be cooked for! Pizza one night, curry another. The showers and toilets are kept really clean and everyone using the site respects them enough to help keep them clean. The location is great for exploring the local area by both car and bike. The only reason we gave the location 4 stars is because we thought Lee Bay was a bit too far to walk for a morning swim, however if planning on spending the day there, it's not too far! Woolacombe was our favourite beach with lots of shops and restaurants as well as beautiful sands that go on for miles! The coastal path was also a stunning way to explore the local area.

11/10 for this campsite! The host was friendly and welcoming on arrival, spotlessly clean facilities and the little farm shop/restaurant is a great asset and came in super handy. Stones throw away from neighbouring Ilfancombe and Woolacombe but the real treasure is the small village of Lee, home to the Grampus Inn. If you stay here make sure you take a visit, preferably on a Friday evening as that's their music event night, but you'll have to book! 110% making another 3 hour drive to Lee Meadow from South Wales sometime soon and we can't wait! Thanks for a lovely break away!

Cleanest facilities I've ever seen, the staff all work tirelessly. Every touch point with any member of staff was friendly and they went out of their way to be helpful and cheerful. The food was amazing too! Special mention to Ollie who was a complete superstar. Thank you for running such a lovely site, we'll be back soon!

Met up with family I hadn't seen for sometime and had a brilliant welcome, very helpful and clean. Would definitely recommend this site. My sister came off her bike and hurt herself and as I had a motorhome, I could bring her home, the campsite manager was extremely helpful and held onto the bike for us until it could be recovered, it was such a nice thing to do and we are extremely grateful.

First ever camping holiday at the age of 75. Couldn't have chosen a better site. The site is well set out and signposted with the facilities, shop and cafe near to the entrance but also centrally placed for all areas. As a less-abled camper, this was a bonus, as it wasn't too distant to walk and the paths were level enough for my travel mobility scooter. The bell tent was large and well-maintained with very pleasing decor and comfortable bed. Fire pit and free wood was a bonus as well as a battery charger. The small farm shop had a good selection of food, toiletries and fancy goods and the cafe served excellent food. Can recommend the curry and pizza nights. On top of all this the staff were really friendly and helpful and they charged my scooter battery for free. You would go a long way to better this site. Cannot think of a way it could be improved. 10 out of 10 guys.

Nice site. A dog field would be good, as well as a play area for children. A mini bus service down to the beach would be a very good idea. £12 per day for parking adds up - very expensive. No Wi-Fi, but didn't really miss it. Farm shop was well stocked with very nice essentials. Take away food was very good, especially the pizza.

Lovely welcome to the site by the family who run the site. The showers and loos were all very clean and nice and warm. The on-site shop was really well stocked with camping essentials/toys/windbreaks etc. And the food barn was wonderful with great breakfast baps and freshly baked pizzas to order along with a great range of other food and drink. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and owners - highly recommended!

Unfortunately, our bell tent was situated at the peak of a hill and so was exposed to a lot of the strong winds we suffered this month, obviously the campsite can't control that but it meant we couldn't cook any breakfast. The only thing that would help here is some sort of awning to be provided with the tents. A battery pack is provided for phone charging which is nice, although its a shame the tents don't come with an electrical hook up. The café on site is great and does some nice food and the staff are fab. It also stocks a lot of nice snacks and booze, among other essentials. Very close to Woolacombe beach and some local pubs. Would definitely recommend the site!

As the first camping experience with my 7yo son, we couldn't have chosen a better place. Excellent facilities (warm showers and waffles on a cold morning!), a lovely location with amazing views, and a relaxed vibe from fellow campers. It took all of the apprehension out of the experience and just left great memories...well played!

Chose different location to normal, it's a little hidden gem of a campsite, no road noise, great views over the bay at the top of the hill. Staff really friendly and make you feel very welcome. Farm stop is a must visit for local food and cooked food. Toilets and other amenities very clean. Will return again. Thanks.

We loved our stay there with our dog. Lovely location with plenty of walking routes. 25 minute or so walk and you're at Lee bay which has some wonderful views! Short drives to the beaches at Ilfracombe and Woolacombe too. The food in the farm shop was top quality! Sausage sandwiches hit the spot in the mornings, plus the evening food was good when it was too rainy to cook. Only downside (not enough to mark the score down though) is there is no dog area to let them off the lead, although it's understandable with the space they're working with. Overall I'd highly recommend Lee Meadow and would definitely stay there again if we go back that way.

So glad you enjoyed your stay with us and thank you so much for your lovely review. There is 100 acres of woodland which you can let your dog off a footstep off the campsite :-) Hope to see you again soon.

A great campsite, probably the best campsite shower I've ever had, with overhead rainfall shower heads! Relaxed atmosphere and campfires allowed (hired on site) which was a great addition to the stay. Very dog friendly which was appreciated as was on my own with a dog. Only addition I would make, is a dog mess bin and a dog cleaning area. Wet, dirty dogs staying in tents is hard work, so would be great to have a facility to wash/dry them. But only a suggestion, the stay was fabulous!
Site's response
Thank you so much. So glad you enjoyed your stay, we will have a think about dog wash and dry area. Thanks again :-)

Lovely rural location for a peaceful campsite with good-sized pitches. Very clean toilet and shower facilities with unlimited hot water. The farm shop/cafe was excellent and provided fabulous breakfasts. There was also a very well-equipped camping supplies shop on-site - very useful for anything you may have forgotten. Staff were friendly and helpful and the resident cat and dogs were also friendly! Lots of dogs on the site and all areas, including the shops were dog-friendly. Pub with good food within walking distance. No specific facilities for younger children, but bike hire available onsite may make this attractive for older children.

This is a very clean site. Very well looked after. It was a bit quiet, but that was due only to the weather. I would like to see a fenced-off field to let the dog off the lead, but still a great site. They also have doggy ice cream which my girl loved. I will be back. Well done Lee Meadow Farm

Beautifully kept site. No hassle check in. The amenities were some of the cleanest I've seen. There's a small camping shop - in case you forgot something. Had a lovely walk through the wooded valley to Lee Bay. Dogs were tired and so were we. Lovely and quiet 🤫 Please try out the pasties and deli section in the farm shop. We will be back.
