About Freshwater Beach Holiday Park
A great spot for some family fun with day and evening entertainment to keep boredom at bay. Guests have access to the site's own private beach, perfect for making sand castles, splashing in the sea and soaking up the sun! Tents, campervans, trailer tents, motorhomes and caravans (up to 7m x 4.5m) are welcome on the site's range of grass pitches. Each comes with a 16 amp electric hook up, simply choose between the Main Field which is closer to the sea and facilities, or the Top Field which is set closer to the road but often less crowded in the busier periods. Campervans, motorhomes and caravans (including twin axle) can also opt for a fully serviced hardstanding pitch. These include your own 16 amp electric, water and grey waste hook up. Free access to the pools and evening entertainment is also included in your stay! The 'Rolling Stones bar and restaurant' is great for nights when you don't fancy cooking or just want to watch some live sport! Daytime entertainment and evening shows are perfect for keeping the little ones entertained too. Set along the Jurassic Coast, the site is perfectly located for exploring this dramatic coastline with Lyme Regis only 20 minutes away! Explore the South West Coast Path and the surrounding Dorset countryside. However, it is no surprise that guests don't seem to stray too far with the excellent onsite facilities on offer. There are three swimming pools, a bowling alley, a games room and water sports. For adults in need of some peace and quiet, there is also a gym, sauna and golf course just next door! No need to book a dog sitter, this site caters for the whole family! There is even an enclosed dog exercise area to let them run around, also dogs are allowed in most buildings onsite. If you want to cook up a BBQ, you can pick up some tasty ingredients from the onsite shop. Please just ensure BBQs are raised from the ground (slabs can be provided for disposable BBQs). Fire pits and burners are not permitted.
Freshwater Beach Holiday Park is open from 14/03 to 08/11.
There are men's and women's facilities with toilets, hot showers and accessible bathrooms. There is a laundry area with hair drying and shaving points, plus a Spar shop (open from 8am in school holidays and 8.30am other times) with chilled, frozen and fresh food, plus a bakery, food to-go section, gifts and camping essentials. An enclosed walking field and shower are available for dogs.
Other facilities include three swimming pools, two indoor (one for adults which is 1.1m constant depth and one for children with an infant area, water slides, water cannons and other apparatus) and an outdoor heated pool with a children's area. Guests will need to pre book swimming sessions. Pools are open 10am to 6.30 pm on weekdays and 9am to 6.30pm on the weekends.
In the Jurassic Fun Centre, there are six lanes of bookable ten pin bowling alley (open 10am to 7pm weekends and 5.30pm weekdays), gym, games room, sauna, hot tub and steam room. There is also live entertainment in the evenings live shows including interactive games, singing, dancing, and guest performers including animal shows, magicians, and tribute acts.
The Rolling Stone Bar and Restaurant (open 10am to 10pm) offers a fully licensed bar, food menu (12pm to 8pm, breakfast from 9am on the weekends) and shows live sports with indoor seating and a roof terrace with sea views, plus an arcade. During weekends and school holidays, a sandwich bar and takeaway are also open.

Lovely site, big pitches, could see the sea from our pitch. Great indoor and outdoor pool, have to book the pool at the weekends as its open to the public. Toilets near reception were lovely and great if you had kids as some cubicles had two toilets in. The toilets at the far end of the park needed upgrading, the floor behind the toilets were not clean, and the shower walls were stained and they never got cleaned on Sunday. Staff were helpful, and the bar was good. Spar shop was well stocked. Overall a lovely place, very well kept, and a great location.

Things to do on site and in the Bridport area
The onsite Jurassic Fun Centre has plenty to keep you entertained including indoor pools, a sauna and steam rooms, ten pin bowling, a gym as well as a terrace bar. Unwind in the hot tub or quench your thirst with a cocktail and take in the coastal views from the roof terrace.
Afterwards, head to the private beach and laze under the sun whilst the kids build sandcastles or set off on a coastal walk with many paths leading directly from the beach.
For the little ones, Flopper the giant rabbit will get them singing and the Yellowcoat team can organise plenty of games during the school holidays including rounders and football.
Make a splash in the outdoor pool too. The 15m inflatable assault course provides a challenge for all ages - see if you can complete it without falling in!
In the evening, enjoy entertainment from plenty of acts including comedians, magicians, late night discos and more. If there's a skill you're dying to show off, be sure to enter into the park's talent contests. Open to both children and adults.
