About Cummins Farm

A peaceful, family friendly campsite set on five acres of Dorset countryside along the world famous Jurassic Coast. Located up a private lane, this site offers a simple base for your coastal adventures. The camping field is home to 54 unallocated pitches, meaning guests can pitch up where they like on arrival, with those wanting electric hook up pitching up on the edge of the field, and those without electric along the hedging in the middle. There is also a shepherd's hut that sleeps up to two, set in a private area of the site. With a comfy king sized bed, fairy lights and a small kitchenette, it is the perfect option for a cosy getaway. Outside is seating and a fire pit for nights in the open. This spacious site has plenty of space for campers to sit back and unwind or start a campsite game of football! You'll be just a five minute drive from Lyme Regis and Charmouth, with a handy park and ride service to Lyme Regis if you wish to leave the car behind, or it is just a 30 minute walk. The walk takes you down through some of Dorset's finest countryside, entirely on footpaths. You can walk to join the South West Coast Path in under ten minutes and enjoy some fantastic coastal vistas. Some of the UK's most stunning coastline and beaches are just minutes away. Well behaved dogs are welcome to join you as long as they are kept on a lead at all times and not left unattended. Fires and BBQs are allowed as long as they are raised from the ground.

Cummins Farm is open from 01/04 to 30/10.

A note from the site themselves...

The campsite has been in Ed's family for three generations, originally set up by Ed's grandad and then passed onto Ed's Dad, Brian. He ran it in a laid-back fashion and was very well known by campers as the farmer who walks around with his notebook to keep a note of guests!

It has now been passed onto Ed and his wife Ruby with the help of Ruby's Dad, Ben, their goal is to continue this laid back atmosphere in Brian's memory but with a few modern touches just to keep up to date!

Campers always state that they love the relaxed atmosphere and the fact that pitches are not allocated or set sizes. Meaning plenty of room to stretch out relax and enjoy being outside.

We hope to welcome you soon,

Ed, Ruby and Ben
