Things to do on site and in the Woodbridge area
On site activities include horse riding lessons for all ages and abilities. If you have tiny tots, they may enjoy a donkey ride, or a tour of the farm animals on a cute Shetland pony, but more advanced lessons for those a bit older are available too.
If you have ever fancied trying side saddle, or western riding, vaulting or carriage driving, improving your dressage or showjumping skills, or just a relaxing ride around the farm, the opportunities are here.
You can book your children into the site's activity days during weekends and school holidays while you explore the local area in peace. At busy times, riding lessons/activity days will require pre-booking well in advance.
There is a large open area in the centre of the campsite, idea for ball games and kite flying. It's intended forkids to run about and let off steam.
There are several miles of woodland and riverside wildlife walks round the outside of the farm, which can be enjoyed by dog walkers, or anybody wishing to watch the local wildlife. You may see the herons, barn owls, wood peckers, deer, hares, Egyptian geese and lots of other creatures.
You can enjoy delicious meals or snacks for adults and children in the cafe on site, overlooking the riding arenas and meadows.
The farm is about 12 miles from the Suffolk heritage coast resorts of Aldeburgh, renowned for its fish and chips. There's also Thorpeness, famous for the House in the Clouds and its boating Meare. Minsmere Nature Reserve and Dunwich are popular attractions just a little further up the coast.
