Would be nice to have a hook to hang your towel in the toilets - otherwise, perfect for what we wanted.
Simply wonderful

This site is probably not for everyone, but I have given it 5* throughout because for those it does suit, it is magical. A small site down a very narrow road, into a large grassy field surrounded by breathtaking scenery. There are three showers and toilets in a small purpose built block which are immaculate, wash up facilities and waste disposal (but no play park for children.) The village is just a ten minute walk away, no shops, but a super pub. For the first five minutes I wasn't sure and then I melted into it and was really sorry to have to leave. Will definitely return.
A lovely site but a few things need attention

A lovely location but there are a few things requiring attention in the shepherd's hut. A dinner plate was chipped, resulting in a cut finger whilst washing it up (see picture below). There was only 1 chair on the decking, and this had a broken/missing slat, and the smoke detector had been removed. In addition, being on the short side, it would be really helpful to have a small step to aid getting in and out of the raised bed.
Site's response
We are really sorry that you experienced these things (especially the cut finger) but now that we are aware of the broken chair and chipped plate, we have ordered a new table set and plates which will arrive later today. Thank you for pointing these things out to us.

Very few flat areas to park, it seemed to be a free for all. Shower started hot then went cold. Disappointed and won't be returning.
Site's response
We're sorry you didn't enjoy your stay and do indicate that the camping field is not a bowling green. We are a rural site of just 14 pitches in 3 acres and very surprised you couldn't find suitable place to pitch and we have 4 showers to choose from..
Just wonderful

Site was quiet and very peaceful despite there being several other campers. The vista was lovely and we enjoyed sunshine and birdsong throughout our stay. Showers were free, clean and warm. Toilets clean too. Exactly what we wanted, would happily recommend.
Peaceful and relaxing

Lovely stay!! Great location close to beaches and countryside walks. Campsite has separate pitches, bathrooms with hot showers, kitchens with sinks and hot taps and communal fridges. Easy to find and choice of spot on arrival. Will visit again 😊

Hobby farm was an excellent find for our first weekend in our campervan. Easy to find, easy to book and self check in and out. Great, quiet and small location with lovely views, yet only 5 minutes off the main road, 10 to the beach, 15 to Lyme Regis. Facilities are good - Clean loos, hot showers and good washing up facilities. The site also has some fire pits to grab and if you forget to bring logs they'll do you a bag for a fiver. Spots for tents/camper vans are nicely spaced out, and although there were only a few others there, even at max capacity this would still be spacious as it's well laid out. WE WILL BE BACK!

We had a lovely stay, it was so quiet. I loved the log burner and the set up was fantastic. Thanks!
