A great little spot, it was peaceful (yay no kids!). There was plenty of space, it feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, but it's only a 15 minutes drive from Bridport. Basic but clean facilities and warm running water at the outdoor sink.

Never have we been to a site where the toilets and showers are so clean, and yet we barely noticed the owners presence. Really well run, just perfect. Site was quiet with a vibe of relaxation everyone respected. Just lovely! Will be back again xx

A great site and have already left a review however wanted to say the pictures don't show the gravel road to each pitch which make it much easier to drive around without fear of getting stuck in the weather. Also, the pitches have been levelled so you can always camp or park your van on the flat which is great. 👍 if you like the quiet life, this is the place for you. 😊

It was a very peaceful campsite. With clean toilets and showers, a lovely place. Wish we'd known there was a fridge/freezer to use! We only discovered it on the last day!

Very happy with our choice of campsite, we had a fairly private spot, the views were amazing and was impressed a huge fridge freezer was provided to keep everything cold. It was rustic but new and clean and I would not hesitate to recommend this adult only site. It was right up our street. So peaceful on an evening and a fire pit was provided for each pitch with wood to buy if needed. Perfect. Thank you for a fab stay, will be back.

Beautiful location, so peaceful and quiet. It's so rare to get a campsite without traffic noise. All we could hear was birdsong and the buzz of bumblebees. Good washing up facilities and 2 clean toilet cubicles with wash basins. 2 showers separate.1 bathroom with shower and toilet combined. Small site so no queuing for the loos. Only one downside was that not all the showers had hot water consistently. I ended up with a cold shower on morning one. However, the first shower in the row, after the wash up station worked with warm water every time I used it. I recommend changing in your tent/camper as the 2 shower rooms in the main block are on the small side. I'll bring a bathrobe next time! A really lovely stay.

Overall, the stay was really lovely. Very easy to drive up and pick any spot to camp up. Small but secluded location and facilities were good. I would just say that a big seller for us was the inclusion of fire pits. When we arrived, it was actually first come, first serve and we didn't have one. Luckily, someone didn't need theirs and so we didn't miss out but would have been really disappointed if we had. I would make that clearer and also that it's cash only if needing to buy extra wood at the site. The campsite is close to Bridport and shops though if needing supplies.

Our second time staying here and even better than the first! Such a tranquil location - the only noises are the wildlife and sometimes the church bells from the nearby village. Great amenities and all our neighbours were quiet - people who come here seem to like the same things. Pitches are a good size - our awing fitted with ease. Firepits were available. The shower block was always clean. An easy walk into the village with the pub (yet to visit). An easy drive to Lyme Regis and Seatown (The Anchor - highly recommended). We can't wait to come again.

The access to the field is a bit tight and some back and forth with other vehicles, so just take your time. Having said that, the remote location delivers a great view. Three showers, one of which was in pieces so a cold shower for hubby from that cubicle, but I used a different one and it was lovely and hot.

Very simple to book, great value in a lovely location, love being able to pick our pitch on arrival. Only 14 pitches, which makes the site very peaceful. The facilities are very simple but ideal, I would suggest a mop being available in the combination shower facility as I felt guilty leaving the floor dirty after showering. Excellent pub just 7 minutes walking, lovely staff, friendly locals with good food and drinks options. We will be back.

Really nice 2 night stay in the Badgers Shepherds Hut. Quiet, tranquil and comfortable. I wasn't sure how to connect to the Wi-Fi and a few more hooks and shelf space for coats, food and toiletries would have been great. But, overall such a nice, relaxing time and a lovely space.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay here. It was so quiet and relaxing. The facilities are clean and very nice. The showers were great, and there is a fridge freezer too. There are wonderful views and the village nearby is beautiful. It's just 5 mins walk. Lyme Regis is an easy drive away. We will be back !

Quiet and intimate with a beautiful view over the countryside. Nice showers and little washing up area. Pub nearby, which was ok but nothing to write home about. Logs and burner box provided for £5, which was a nice touch.

Needed a place to chillax away from kids, I do love kids too though! Hot showers, toilets, flat pitches, even fridge/freezer. This is all I need to set my tent and chill. Lyme Regis / Bridport is about 15 to 20 mins drive. Bought some seafood from the local fishmongers and did a BBQ - perfect!
