Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024

Excellent service, as we arrived late and we were made very welcome. The bathroom and toilets were lovely, warm and sparkling clean. We got stuck in the mud after a very heavy rainfall, there were no problems for the owner, who helped us out. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous stay, will be back!

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024

Gorgeous property, really friendly and easy check in. They have something called the boozy box and it's got a little seating area outside. Even though we don't drink it was lovely to see it put to use! Wasn't too loud of the night. Shower and toilet block impeccable, had drinking water and BBQ bricks and disposal. Plenty of things to do and ten mins (if that) away from the city centre. Honestly, 10/10, canal walk lovely too! Thank you!

Friendly staff, you can tell your oldies from Brum that can use their bus pass now on the 303 free. A hook to hang your things on when out of shower be good. Thanks, see you soon.

A lovely campsite, with fantastic toilet facilities. It was nice to see the ducks and swans. We stayed for Worcester Races and there was a bus service to and from Worcester. The staff were really nice and friendly.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Really easy to find and travel to. Lovely friendly campsite. We camped for 2 nights. They do have electric pitches, not that we used one. Touring and static. The showers / toilet block was spotless and very new. I was really impressed. Will definitely be going again.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

The location of the campsite is a mixed blessing. On the one hand, it is a very lovely spot next to the canal offering a beautiful canal walk or cycle to Droitwich in one direction, or Worcester in the other. We had great a cycle picking brambles, stopping at Churchill Farm for ice cream on way and picnicking in Lido Park. On the other hand, campsite is sitting on dual carriageway and you can hear the traffic pretty clearly all day and quite late into night. Campsite facilities were excellent, with new and clean shower and toilet block that is as good or better than home! Also, good laundry and in the evening, a bar with tables on the canal side. If you're a keen fisherman then you can purchase a license at very reasonable rates and while away the day. Staff very friendly and helpful. The campsite tends to be quite busy from Friday to Sunday, with lots of families, which is great fun for kids. Slightly quieter during the week. It's therefore a little tricky to find a spot on busy Friday evenings - and so if you can arrive early, it might give you a little more choice on where to pitch. Perhaps just the week we were there but when quieter, lots of caravans with people keeping themselves to themselves, so slightly lacking in communal atmosphere. There are, however, great day trips for families from this location. Great day at Stratford upon Avon enjoying the recreation ground park with mini golf, boating and pool. As well as the mad museum and music alley - both really good fun for kids. We also enjoyed days to Gloucester - lunch by canal and visit to aviation museum. Walk along river in Worcester to visit the cathedral. Walk in Malvern Hills as well as adorable ice skating disco venue in Malvern - Ice Quest. Evening show at the Tuckwell Amphitheatre in Cheltenham with lots of good restaurants in the Montpellier area. A day trip into Cotswolds villages for gift shopping and cream teas.

Ideally located just of the M5 south of Birmingham for my journey between Cornwall and Norfolk, it was half way. The facilities were very good, including a pop up bar, along with very new clean toilets and showers and lots of pitches. I had a lovely stay here.

For our first time camping a great site

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2024

We booked for 2 nights on the May Bank Holiday weekend. When we arrived, we were told they were extremely busy. We weren't given a pitch number, just told to park our van wherever we could find a space. We did struggle to park it, and we were in between two pitches, which wasn't really fair on the couples either side of us. Despite campsite rules asking for noise to be kept down after 10pm, I was still wide awake at 12:30 am, as inconsiderate neighbours were laughing and talking loudly with teenagers still running about and music playing. Luckily it started raining & they went inside, or the noise would have probably continued a bit longer! We left early the next morning and didn't bother returning for the 2nd night we'd booked and paid for! Because we weren't given an allocated pitch and were in a van, there was no guarantee that we'd still have the same space after returning from a few hours off site. There was nowhere else available on site, apart from in the middle of the field, which wouldn't have given us any privacy. I really wish I'd looked at the site for a space before paying the balance, as we'd probably have decided to try and find somewhere else to stay, even though the chances would have been slim as it was a Bank Holiday. I appreciate that mistakes can be made, but surely if people have already been booked in, then further bookings that have come through shouldn't then take priority over the other bookings made earlier? We arrived late afternoon and there were two more bookings who arrived after us! I must say that the toilets and showers were very good and nice and clean, considering how busy the site was. If you have kids and like noise and chaos, then this site would be fine. But for a more mature couple, whose kids have flown the nest, and you want somewhere quiet to relax and have a bit of space and privacy from having an allocated pitch, then I'd advise you to go elsewhere instead.

Fabulous all-round

Stunning setting, surrounded by river and canal: spotless toilet block and showers, super friendly staff, on site bar and food wagon appeared in the evening. Lovely walks down the canal and only a 3mile drive into Worcester. Excellent all round!

Lovely site in a lovely setting. You can tell the owners are really trying here, and when the new games room is up and running it will be great for kids! The new facilities for toilets and showers are stunning, however they could be checked and cleaned more regularly. Site itself is well laid out, tidy and safe. Thanks for a nice stay.

If you're meeting as a group or just dropping in with the fam, this is the place. Cheap and cheerful. Only thing I would recommend is make sure you're fully kitted out with supplies, as shops, restaurants and, most importantly, pubs are not in walking distance. Overall, a great little pitch and play site.

The location is beautiful and so is the campsite. All the facilities are excellent. Unfortunately, we came here in early April and it had been raining heavily the past few weeks so the grass area was too wet to pitch the campervan. But the staff accommodated us in the tarmacked area and provided us with electrical hookup as well. They also mentioned they are planning to open a pub on the premises.

Lovely camp site

We had one night in the camper and we really liked it. Will be amazing when all facilities are ready. We will definitely be going back in the summer and can not wait to see the work finished. James was so helpful and friendly and the shower and toilet rooms were amazing. Super clean!

Unfortunately, the site was flooded when we arrived but we received a phone call before hand to warn us. James couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. He found us a space on their car park for the duration of our stay. The toilets & showers are modern and spotlessly clean. The site is located conveniently between Worcester & Stourport, making it easy to explore the area. The water did recede during our stay, revealing a lovely site surrounded by the river. We will definitely visit again, hopefully in more clement weather!

Paddle anyone!

The toilet and shower block were immaculate. The site was unfortunately flooded, so we were unable to experience this site to its full potential, but James and the rest of the team could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. Nature took over the Easter weekend, but fun and laughter did too. We would definitely come back when it's dry! James - A massive thank you for all you did for everyone that weekend! A few saved caravans that didn't turn into boats!
