About Coldstream Holiday Park

This peaceful site sits alongside the River Tweed and is only a 15 minute walk from the town centre of Coldstream and a 20 minute drive from Berwick-Upon-Tweed. With spectacular views of the Cheviot Hills from your pitch or pod and rolling hills on all sides, you can stay close to nature. Choose from a range of grass pitches, for tents you have the options of a non electric or electric pitch and if you're travelling in your caravan, campervan or motorhome there are electric pitches. The electric pitches have a 16 amp hook up. For those wishing to leave the tent pegs at home, there are four camping pods to choose from, two of which welcome dogs. These pods sleep up to four guests and come unfurnished so you will need to bring all of your camping equipment including beds and bedding. The pods have underfloor heating to keep you toasty, even in winter! There are four mega pods onsite which come furnished and a range of static caravans too. You can head out to The Hirsel Estate, just a ten minute walk from the campsite for countryside walks around beautiful surroundings, there is even a cafe and farm shop if you get peckish! Or, hop in the car to the coast with Goswick Beach and Marshall Meadows Bay within a 30 minute drive. You are welcome to bring your four-legged friend along with you, do note that two of the camping pods are pet free and dogs must not be left unattended in the dog friendly camping pods. Open fires are permitted in raised fire pits and BBQs must also be raised from the ground.

Coldstream Holiday Park is open from 04/03 to 03/11 in 2024 and from 03/03 to 29/11 in 2025.

A note from the site themselves...

Having operated a holiday park in the Scottish Borders for over 25 years I was delighted to have the opportunity to develop the new Coldstream Holiday Park. The park is set on the edge of the historic town of Coldstream and has brilliant views across the river Tweed to the Cheviot and Eildon hills.

It's fantastic to be able to offer a vibrant holiday park with touring, camping and glamping facilities. Seeing people enjoy and make the most of their leisure time is great. So far there has been really positive feedback from customers which is appreciated by all of the team.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesOct 2024

We stayed for one night to see a musician playing in Coldstream. The campsite is in easy walking distance of the town. Clean showers and toilets. Great ground to pitch the tent too.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring PitchesJul 2024

Nice site for holiday homes but very poor facilities. I felt they were not enough for the amount of campers staying there and they were not full and not cleaned enough compared to other sites we have stayed at.

Site's response

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We take all feedback on board and will take this into account for future developments. We do have 2 extra units behind the amenity block with extra showers and toilets for use during busy periods. Our shower facilities are thoroughly cleaned twice a day with cleaning products left inside for guests to use after themselves. Unfortunately, not everyone follows this request and during busy times, our house keeping team need to wait until the big morning rush to get inside to do their job. I'm sorry on this occasion we did not meet with your expectations. The Coldstream Team.
