About the site
The site is right on the river and only a ten minute walk from the market town of Ross-on-Wye. Ideal for a fun-filled camping trip, guests can head out on the water on canoes and paddle boards, or simply unwind on the bank with a picnic or a book. The campsite area is located on the rowing club lawns, with 12 acres of space available. Tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes are all welcome, with non electric grass pitches for everyone and a minimum of 6m between units. There is a separate area for D of E and school groups too, with the option of whole site hire also available. Dogs can join you for your stay, with up to two pups permitted per pitch. Do note, open fires are not allowed and BBQs will need to be approved by the site. However, the site's clubhouse is open most Fridays and some Saturdays with a licensed bar and regular BBQ nights!

Currently we do not allow campfires. If you would like to BBQ please be in touch after booking to discuss.
We are a small, friendly club campsite so if you're looking to have a party, to make excessive noise or disturb your camping neighbours then we are not the place for you. There is strictly no plugged in or loud music at any time. All noise must be kept to a minimum after 10:30pm.
A maximum of 2 dogs per pitch are allowed, provided they are kept on a lead at all times and cleared up after straight away.
Please let us know if you're bringing a dog in the additional requirements box at the end of the booking process.
Standard camping pitches: Arrivals from midday - 8pm and departure 11am.

Located right by the River Wye, the site is a great spot for those wanting to take out their canoe or paddleboard. Explore the river and stop off at charming waterfront pubs and scenic spots for a picnic!
A ten minute drive will take you to the Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo, where you can walk amongst colourful butterflies in a tropical setting. A great day out for those with little ones.
For adventure seekers, Symonds Yat Rock is within 15 minutes. This viewpoint offers breathtaking views of the Wye Valley and is a fantastic location for hiking or birdwatching - you might even spot a peregrine falcon!
Ross-on-Wye is just five minutes from the campsite with its pretty shops, cosy cafés, and riverside walks, it's a lovely place to relax. Whether you're into history, nature, or just unwinding, there's plenty to enjoy.
