We were really happy with everything but just a few things I wanted to pass on was the saucepans and fryingpan were really burnt so everything I cooked in them then tasted burnt and there was no scourer to clean them so we bought some and maybe just could have done with another bin bag . The shower was just not usable as either too cold or scalding hot just couldn't get it right . Overall we had the most few nights , used the hot tub and the bbq , really was lovely 😍

The surrounding was divine but a bit let down by the piles of rubbish left just as we drove in the camp. The pod had a smell to it which we couldn't quite get used to. The hot tub needed wood to heat up and we heated it up from 3:00 to 9.00, was still very cold and couldn't use it, so unless you are spending the whole day in the camp you, can't go in it. The shower temperature, we couldn't adjust, much as we tried. It would go from cold to boiling hot water, very temperamental. So we didn't shower for 2 nights and we decided not to stay the 3rd night, we just left. I can say the kitchenette is well equipped and having the fire pit for ourselves was great. The people owning the place seemed very friendly and came to say hello when we arrived on our first day.

We had the most enjoyable stay and can not rate the site higher. Excellent facilities and the pod was fantastic. Would highly recommend the hot tub under the stars, was breath-taking.

Lovely little site. Pods are well equipped and clean. Nice touch with fire pit and hot tub. Owner very accommodating and friendly. My family that consisted of husband, son of 16 and dog had a great few days, would recommend. Thanks, Liz.

Lovely site with glorious aspect. Friendly and amenable hosts. Cabin equipped with more than expected (internet and TV) but absolutely perfect for getting away from it all. Also loved the tiny village shop which stocks everything, which meant we could be totally self sufficient and not have to travel if we didn't want to. The proximity to the Hafren Forest was super (added bonus of seeing Ospreys with chicks). This is a rare gem of a place.
Nia and family were great hosts - local lamb burgers and hot tub every night!

We loved our stay at Wigwam Hafren. Nia popped in on us daily to check we were happy with everything and she was very accommodating, and helped us with some ideas of where to go during the day. She was also lovely with all our kids! The setup there is fantastic, and the views are unparalleled around that area. The grass area out the front was brilliant for our young kids to run around and play without us having to worry, as it's nowhere near a road or any other people!

Lovely little place with stunning views. The owner was very friendly. Unfortunately, the weather let us down, but we still had a great time. The only downside was that the bed was uncomfortable - take an airbed to put under the mattress and you will be fine 😊

We had a fantastic stay. The hosts were nice and friendly. The camping pod was nice, clean, comfortable and warm. Plenty of hot water. We went as a family of 4 with our dog and the kids loved it! My only grumble is that we only had 2 plates, no corkscrew and the shop close by had very limited opening hours. Otherwise a fantastic stay.

Brilliant. I'd give the hosts more stars if I could. Very friendly, polite, helpful and professional. Pods were very clean. Beds very comfortable. Hot tub and fire pit, great addition. Such a lovely location. If you go make sure you purchase some of the local products from the hosts. We will be coming back as had such a lovely, comfy stay. Also, I rarely give reviews and we go glamping a lot.

The location of this site has some lovely scenery and surrounded by lambs that are owned by the farmer and farmers wife. The pod was nice and clean upon entering and had everything you needed within the kitchen area. The farmers wife greeted us not long after we arrived and was on hand if we needed any advice. The sign inside gave you all the information you needed, gave instructions on how to use things, said where the nearest shop was and gave some fun facts about the area. This was a nice place to stay and will be coming back in the future and also will recommend to friends and family to stay.

We had a lovely stay here. The pods are equipped with all you need for a few nights away. If you need anything, Nia (owner) is just a phone call/text message away. Extremely friendly family run site. We will be back to visit & explore more of the area.

First glamping experience in Wales. I must say it was an unforgettable experience. Waking up each morning surrounded by a stunning scenery. And at night, a bright sky full of stars. Clean surroundings. Very kind and friendly owners. Well maintained glamping pods. A wonderful time to de-stress, re-breathe and re-charge of a body and soul. Away from the busy world of London. Highly recommended. Will surely be back with our group of friends. Thank you Wigwam Holidays/ Hafran.

After a busy period of work, this is just what the Dr ordered. Beautiful views, lovely people and time to relax. We visited as a family with our 8 year old daughter. The site is small and remote, but well looked after. Glamping huts are clean and have all essentials. We received a text when about 15 mins away to ask us what time we were arriving. Hut was ready and we got the information for how to heat our hot tub using the wood burner. The farmers that run the site are super friendly and look after you well. We used our hot tub a few times, there is an art to getting the right temperature. Wood available to buy on site. A fire pit is provided too so we did some BBQing and toasted marshmallows. There is a strip of land for children to play on, we took balls and bat, frisby, bubbles and a kite - there were perfect winds for kite flying. Nearby, we visited Hafren forest (spectacular views) and the towns of llandloes, Machynlleth. We went paddle boarding with Mavericks as as well as visiting Corris Craft Centre. All together, a fabulous holiday and have even brought home some lamb that the site sells. Would highly recommend.
