Nestled on the edge of the charming town of Corwen, Gaerhyfryd Caravan Site is located just off the A5 and has a range of fully serviced and hardstanding pitches for tourers. Surrounded by glorious countryside, it's also a good base for trips to Snowdonia, Bala Lake and Llangollen.

Excellent, peaceful, friendly site. Great base to explore the area from. It also has the best free Wi-Fi I've ever come across on a campsite. Would highly recommend and will be staying there again.

Stayed here for 2 nights and was very impressed by the site. Billy met us to check we were all OK for our setting up and asked if we needed any cables etc. The site has lovely surroundings and we could relax whilst looking at the lovely fields and hills. There is a field next door for dogs to exercise and also a small enclosed area for football and other games for the kids. Nice quiet site, not really for the kids but great for adults to enjoy a peaceful stay. Facilities were clean and the showers were good with room to put your clothes so they didn't get wet. Could be a touch more modern but no issues at all. Would definitely look to stay again.

Well what can I say, it was my first time in the caravan and I was a bit nervous about setting it up etc. I needn't have worried - Billy the warden was brilliant and very helpful and made my first trip away a pleasure. The site is very tidy and all hardstanding pitches fully serviced. The toilet block is clean with plenty of hot water, as is the washing up block /veg prep area. Me and the pooch can't wait for our next visit

If you're after peace and quiet, this site is for you! Clean and well kept by the friendly and welcoming warden Billy! Wish I could've stayed for a few more days!

Great site to chill and recharge your batteries. Met at site and shown your space, taxi available to local pub, town and onsite person if you need anything. Totally recommend

I would definitely recommend it to anybody, the site is very quiet with very good facilities and I was impressed with the cleanliness. The owner is also very helpful and friendly. Just perfect!

Lovely little site, with good showers and the facilities were clean. A little set away from everywhere but this wasn't a problem for us. Amazing views. Definitely will be returning 😊 x

Wonderful little campsite, spotlessly clean, peaceful and relaxing. We arrived late on Friday evening and nothing was too much trouble for the warden. Highly recommended and looking forward to returning.

First experience of using a serviced pitch. Much easier/quicker/cleaner. Small site located next to a working farm, so get used to the noises early morning. The site was very clean at all times and the caretaker (Billy) was very helpful and professional with his dealings. Top fella! Being in Wales, everything gets wet frequently and I found the on-site tumble-dryer to not really be up to the task. Aside from that very small gripe, I will return as It was a pleasant experience. Recommended.

Located near Bala, a very pleasant midweek stay, few visitors on site during our stay, but good company from cute looking Highland cattle in neighbouring field.

The site was excellent! I would have scored all fours and fives but no one was in reception during normal hours and no one came to introduce themselves to show us the facilities. I had to ask as a new camper where I could empty our toilet cassette. The Wi-Fi was great and the site peaceful.

Lovely caravan camping park. Not big. Well maintained Warden lovely helpful guy. Do anything for you. Also the cleaner, spot on. Really clean. Showers very hot, and loads of water. Pot washing area spotless. Laundry the same. No shop on site but local produce near by. No pub/club on site, which was brilliant. Quiet peaceful site. Highly recommended. Will be back.
