Great location

This well located site is set in a great part of the country close to Bodiam Castle. Clean, well kept and friendly but could do with a few more toilet type facilities as it can be a long walk to the main buildings house these. It was very windy when we went but can imagine it's stunning if there is no wind. Despite this, we had a really good long weekend.

Very good facilities

Great location to explore East Sussex. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, perfect for families and groups, plenty of space for everyone.

Nothing spectacular but fine

The toilets and showers kept very clean. There were lots of toilets and showers so we didn't have to wait or queue once over a bank holiday weekend. It is a massive site so you can be completely on your own if you wish! There is a good play park for children, although we found it too overrun with big teenagers for our 3 year old to really enjoy it. However, there are only one set of showers, which was a bit of a trek from the back two fields. The location is isolated, so not a lot near or much to do and the shop on site was very limited.

Good camping site

Good camping site, close to Bodiam Castle. The facilities were always very clean during our stay and the shower cubicles were a good size. They have a good set of rules, that you can read online and are printed in the public areas and most tent and caravan neighbours were friendly. Unfortunately, there were some idiots blowing up fireworks really close to us, not only dangerous, but forbidden, and we didn't see any park ranger around while this was happening. It would've been nice to have someone from management paying attention to this. Apart from that, it was a good stay. Friendly staff and also great playground area for the kids. The walk along the river to Bodiam is really nice and we hope to go back in the near future and explore some more.

Lovely stay

Not quite start of full season, but still lovely stay. Staff were really helpful, friendly and the were facilities clean. My 5-year-old grandsons first trip camping and he absolutely loved it. Lovely being able to have a campfire and just run around free as a bird.

Excellent campsite

Friendly staff, clean toilets and showers. Kids loved the play area and having a campfire at night. Great location for Kent and Sussex. Looking forward to going back next year!

Relaxing time

Well managed, with large open spaces. The pitches are ample, comfortable and well spaced. Hedges and all is kept very clean and tidy.

Great place

First time here and it won't be the last! Great location, big pitches and best of all the showers and toilet blocks were kept very clean the entire time we were there. There is a small shop come cafe on site which comes in really handy. Staff were all very pleasant, which makes a difference. We will return again soon.

Ok stay

We had a pleasant stay. While there were a few things that undermined our stay, they were not down to the park itself. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The cafe was slightly disappointing as we wanted to take a lunch for our trip out, but we were told we would have to wait till 11am to order anything off the lunch menu. We were leaving at 10am so this was slightly disappointing, as it does state on the website they would be happy to provide. The bathrooms and showers were constantly being cleaned and stocked up, so I can't fault these. We saw lots of rabbits and ducks on our stay, which was absolutely lovely to see. While the park was a lovely thing to have there for the children, unfortunately the parents let it down! On both nights we attempted to play in the park but we were greeted by children swearing and running riot, not allowing other children to play. If there were other children playing, the children were being shouted at or having rubbish thrown at them. It was just me and my daughter and she was desperate to play and make friends, but unfortunately for her, this was not going to happen. I feel there should be some kind of rule of parents having to be with the children while in the park to make sure this doesn't happen to other children. Overall our stay was good and we would return.

Good site for exploring. Friendly reception and staff in general. Relaxed site, great for children to have some freedom.

We had an amazing time. The kids loved the freedom of running around and I felt they were safe.

Great time

Had a jolly old time at Park Farm Caravan and Camping. It was the first time we'd been camping. There is a vast array of fields in which to pitch your tent. There's a decent play area for the kiddies, and the shower and toilet facilities are all fine. They seem to do a good job enforcing the 10pm quiet time, and we were able to sleep reasonably well.

Average but fun!

Nice basic site with some lovely walks from the site itself. Children's play area was lovely, but the shop could be improved - milk and daily bread delivery would be great! The showers are freezing despite being told they do warm up, I wasn't able to wash my children! The site is incredibly spacious with some awesome areas to walk dogs and let children run and play 😊

Great site whether you want electric and full facilities or an open field and bird song

We stayed in the far field, away from the road and main facilities but near 4 clean toilets. Perfect area for children although we did not have any with us. Fires allowed. Great spot thanks! Used the shop of for essentials though the bacon rolls were tempting. No splash free area in the showers, so don't take too many clothes in with you.

Camping

The campsite itself is fairly basic. The showers and toilets were always very clean but very basic. In the showers there was no bench to rest anything so hangable bags are a must. On checking in, I was told that the water was on a gas heating supply and so it would take two or three attempts for hot water to come through. On my first visit, it took 12 attempts. This doesn't sound much but when you're stood waiting for each session to finish before pushing again it seemed like a fair while! I was EHU with a large tent and the pitch was wonderful! Very large with ample of space for your car and enough space to have an open fire as well! The views over the field are glorious. I was very lucky with the weather so that was also a bonus! I would certainly go back but I would only stay for a max of 5 nights.

First time in our motorhome

We are new to this and just booked one night as a trial, but wish we had booked longer. A lovely place with great facilities, the people were very friendly and toilets and showers were extremely clean. We will definitely come back.

Great stay, wonderful location

Great stay, wonderful location. The site was well maintained and in a beautiful setting. Facilities were good, staff friendly especially the lady at reception. Lots to do in the surrounding area. Will definitely be returning in the spring.

Great fun

We had a great stay. Fire and cooking was fun, all good until the stormy weather came but hey, skin is waterproof. All in all, a great campsite!

Awesome stay

Fantastic few days, staff very accommodating and friendly! Can't remember his name but Mr shopkeeper was great and helped us new campers out with anything we didn't have! Highly recommend this campsite!
