Had an amazing stay. The views were incredible and the horsebox was cosy and romantic. Only a couple of issues. The shower would go freezing after about a minute of it being on which wasn't great. Also, the hot tub would take ages to heat and then be scorching for hours and wouldn't go to a temp you could get in for a substantial amount of time. We weren't able to be in until like 10pm haha. Anyway, it was an amazing stay and the staff were very helpful. Would recommend.

We stayed in the very cosy yurt 'Heather'. We had terrible weather but we were warm with the wood heater and enjoyed a hot bath in place of the hot tub. The bathroom yurt is spacious and warm with a heater and almost everything you could want for comfort is provided - slippers, mirrors, big towels, shampoo and body wash. The main yurt provides cooking utensils, a lovely big bed with electric blankets and a big sofa you can watch the fire from. It was a cosy refuge from the awful weather and I can only imagine how much better the experience would be if it was sunny as the property offered walking trails.

Perfect romantic getaway - log fire and log fired hot tub kept us warm and feeling cosy despite it being -4°C while we stayed. Highly recommend the Heather yurt for anyone looking to disappear from the world for a few nights!

The location of this campsite is really extraordinary. Silence (except from the animals but that's not noise), great views, remote.. It took us 6+ hours to heat the jacuzzi water (at least if you like it above 20°C) but we had it up to 32°C which is really super nice (it took really long). To be aware off: our cabin, Juniper, is really tight (I believe the other revamped lorry has more space) - heating was not working and the mattresses would need a change I believe.

Thank you for your review Ingmar. It should take approximately 3 hours to heat the hot tub. As stated in our property guide it is extremely important to keep adding logs to the stove every 30 minutes to keep the fire fed, as well as keeping the cover on to keep the heat in. If the stove is lit and left to burn out, the water temperature will barely increase. Our apologies for the fault with the heating, thankfully we do leave a backup heater in Juniper!
