About Alexander House Glamping
The grounds of the large Scottish country house offer stunning views in every direction. It's the perfect place to find peace and quiet and a retreat from daily life. The site is ideal for honeymoons, anniversaries and other celebrations. Alexander House is just a five minute drive from Gleneagles and less than an hour from Edinburgh, set in the picturesque Perthshire Hills. Treat yourself to a stay in the luxury yurt with a private hot tub and packed with little luxuries. Guests are greeted with fine linens, feather duvets, stove top wood burners and electric blankets to keep them warm. There are also lights and power sockets. The ensuite bathroom contains a flushing loo, roll top bath and a shower. Sorry, dogs are not permitted. Or how about a special break in a cosy converted horsebox, with space for two smaller children and one dog? Juniper has queen sized bed plus a toasty radiator to keep you warm, lights, power sockets inside and, in the ensuite, an excellent toilet, bath and shower. This former horsebox has been beautifully renovated to offer a family friendly option with all the same beautiful furnishings. Thistle offers the same cosy cabin feel on wheels and is positioned to look out over lovely views. Inside is a fabulous fold down queen sized bed, a galley kitchen and your own ensuite facilities. It's a chic, decorated space with room in a cosy nook within the lorry cab to sleep two little ones up to age 10. Top notch bedding is supplied for the adults, but do bring sleeping bags for the kids. Outside all units, there is plenty of space with tables and chairs/picnic benches, benches with views, gas BBQs and wood fired hot tubs.
