A nice campsite and a good location, with all the essential facilities. There is a burger van there that caters for breakfast, dinner and tea incase you don't or cant cook. The food was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Lovely site overlooking water - easy going, good facilities

Really enjoyed our overnight stay. Lovely little site. Toilets were clean, showers excellent, just right temp. Free to pitch wherever. Solar Panels make it renewable friendly. Good "outdoor gym" equipment. Really lovely setting near the water. Very laid back site. We would definitely return.

Lovely location, felt very much off grid. Met some other lovely travellers. Toilets great, showers would benefit from refurbishment.

Great campsite at a stunning location.
Not recommended for a long stay but felt ok for a stop over site

Nice location. I would not recommend the site for any longer than 1-2 nights as a stop over enroute to the North. There are no marked pitches and it was very busy. Facilities are ok for a short stay but needs a new shower block and more facilities for the large number of people who use the site. On a plus side, the views across the Loch are beautiful.

It was our first time here. It's really family friendly, quiet, and there is everything needed to have a good time. It was just 9 minutes from Inverness town centre. It's next to a small hotel and restaurant which is gorgeous, it's a five minute walk or 2 minutes by bike next to the beach. It's not new, it might need an update, but we still had a really good experience, will be back next year.

Stunning view, cheap price, basic facilities, but absolutely matching the descriptions online. It would be nice to see a different allocation of tent places, left to the choice of customers. I appreciated the refreshment van present all day and the recycling corner, at the reception, where you can leave/find things such as used gas cans, mats, left by campers. More than perfect for the price. Translated from Italian.

Fantastic campsite! Only a small site but the view across the Firth was absolutely stunning. Great location, right on the beach and only a short car ride to Inverness and surrounding villages. The facilities were good and Fiona and Bruce work hard to keep everything clean and tidy. Simon also works tirelessly, checking people in and ensuring the site is up to standard. The food from the food shack is really tasty and is all made fresh. We will definitely be returning.

The view of the mountains especially in the evening sunset is breath-taking. Constant wind if you camp near the waterside, but we were sheltered with the surrounding trees, perfect conditions. Needs more toilets and showers. It is one of the best campsites for a view, especially in the evening, with the mountains as a back drop. We were lucky with the weather which makes a difference. The relaxed atmosphere transfers to you with no strict regulations the only downfall, new showers and toilet facilities please.
Nice location, that’s it

It was a free for all. Park your motorhome or pitch your tent wherever you like. Very noisy and busy, basic amenities. Not for us.
Relaxing and convenient

Could be a really nice site

Site looked very appealing from the roadside, but once onsite, it was a little dated and run down. Towards the front where most people were staying seemed a little unorganised and rowdy. We were put on a pitch towards the back which was a little quieter, but amongst what looked like abandoned broken old caravans. Could be a really nice site but unfortunately on this occasion it lacked a little.
Not great

Didn't help that it had rained for the last few days and ground was soft, but site is very 'relaxed' with pick your own pitch policy. Immediately found that where I had chosen had no Wi-Fi cover at all. Moved and found Wi-Fi, but was now right next to the children's play area! Toilets, showers and dishwashing facilities are like something from 1960s. Great if you like nostalgia! No proper dog walking areas nearby either. I left after one night and was not my vibe at all.
Happy camper

Needs more toilet blocks, a better play park for kids and dedicated camping and caravan spots as it was a sham where some people parked. Overall would stay again but just for a short stay.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a Bunchrew Caravan Park, and I can recommend it to everyone. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, setting the tone for our entire stay. Despite the campsite being quite busy (which I can understand during the Summer holiday), there was still plenty of choice when it came to picking a spot to pitch our tent. The facilities at the campsite were good. The showers are wonderfully warm (almost hot), providing a comforting end to a day of exploring the area. Additionally, the amenities are kept in pristine condition, which really enhanced our overall experience. This campsite is a great if you're looking for a base from wich you want to explore the surroundings of Inverness. It's a place I would gladly return to. If you're looking for a nice camping experience in Scotland, this is definitely a place to go to!
