Another enjoyable stay

Our second visit to this site as we wanted to explore the area more. It was very clean and tidy, both in the shower block and around the site. Great that they accept dogs and even provided an exercise field for them where they can be off the lead in a safe environment. There is some slight noise from the nearby main road, but was still very quiet at night and didn't cause us any problems. Would definitely recommend and use again if we came back to the area.

Excellent location

Great park, just in need of additional toilet blocks and refurbishment of the ones there. It would also be good if they had a sign on the shop door with opening times.

Lovely stay

Lovely, quiet location in a gorgeous area surrounded by fields, pure peace.I would say the toilet area needs updating and there's no shop onsite- it's about a 10 minutes drive away. This location has some of the most gorgeous pubs I've seen. Such a nice area. Kid friendly stay, park on-site. Overall had a lovely weekend stopping here.

Fantastic stay at a great rate

Stayed for 2 nights with a 7.5m motorhome, grass pitch with electrical hookup. Great location, didn't meet or see any staff/ owners as all checking in is done by text. Showers and toilet blocks were okay, newer one at the front (wooden clad building next to the log cabin) are the best to use. Would gladly recommend Folly Farm.

Ok for basic camping

Did the job. Very basic campsite with bare minimum facilities. The showers, although were cleaned daily, still had mould in the sealant and damp/mould on the ceilings. It wouldn't take much to re-seal and re-paint the shower areas for it to look cleaner.

Would not recommend!

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay at this campsite. We felt that the owners had crammed as many people in as possible and did not supply the facilities to accommodate the amount of people on site. An additional toilet block was opened for the weekend (which only had 1 additional shower and was quite grubby) but after that, there were queues every time one of us went to use them. The washing up facilities were outside with no cover and often had no hot water. Waste bins around the site I felt were not emptied often enough, causing them to overflow and there were wasp nests all around the site which surrounded the bins and the water taps. On the positive side, the children's park was not bad and there is a field with some football goals which was nice. On the whole we would not recommend this campsite.

Lovely stay

Lovely site and location. Peaceful even though the site was busy. Very few toilets and showers. We noticed that there is a separate additional block which was unfortunately locked and not in use, but would've been useful due to the amount of people queuing. Other than this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Great views

Great views, no fuss. Not a lot of toilets and bathrooms for a whole camp site, though.

First time camping :)

We stayed here for my daughter's 2nd Birthday. It was our first time camping so had no idea what to expect or do. We simply needed somewhere affordable and close to Peppa Pig World. We loved it so much, I now intend to be a full time camper lol! Pitches were nicely spaced, toilet and bathroom facilities were clean. They could do with a bit of a re vamp (eg mould on shower sealants), but they were clean and that's the main thing. The camp site was lovely and was clean but there isn't a local shop nearby. In saying that, it's taught me what I will need to take on my next camping trip so there is a silver lining :) I was slightly dubious as the reviews were a bit mixed, but I was so pleased I trusted my gut. Thankyou, we will definitely return - maybe for next year's Birthday!

Good for a short break

Great campsite for a short break as location remote, for long walks we had to drive out as walking on road was not so safe. Location more suited for families with young kids, not teenagers as limited to what can be done. Good facilities and easy access to toilets/showers … no issues with queuing.

Two night stay

Nice campsite - not too packed, nice area. Showers could be updated/freshened up a little. Overall, we had a lovely time.

Too busy

Too many big groups, so would recommend for family meets or large get togethers. Too many kids for us.

Camping

Toilets and shower rooms are basic, needs upgrading and mould removing.

Nice area, room for improvement

Easy to find location. Busy, and not enough showers and toilets for everyone. Off lead area for dogs was small. Very noisy and noise continued after 10.30pm. No Wi-Fi either.

Lovely site

Lovely site not too far from home (Basingstoke), so ideal for a quick getaway. Quiet area - great facilities. Winchester is only down the road if you need anything, but definitely recommend you take everything you'll need and settle in! Used the fire pit wood available too (we took our own wood). Definitely going to book again.

Folly Farm

Nice location between Stockbridge and Winchester. Plenty of areas to explore locally. The park is well kept and planned out. A football is even kept on the play park so you can have a little kick about! Nice touch! Our two children really enjoyed the playground.

Oldies from Glastonbury

Great site and a lovely welcome from David. Pitch was clearly set out and no problems setting up. Showers and toilets could do with an update in comparison to other sites we have stayed in. Site could do with some more trees and shrubs to break up the fenced rows? We would come again. Thank you.

Great place to stay

Great area and friendly accommodation. We had to wait a while for the electric to be put on but it was sorted and the owner is very polite and helpful.

Excellent site

We had a very enjoyable 3 nights at this campsite. Check-in was very straightforward as just followed the instructions emailed to us prior to arrival. Loved the quiet rural location, yet still close enough to go into Winchester or access the motorway network to go further afield. Facilities were clean and tidy, liked that dog bin was provided in the exercise field. My only gripe was the dish washing area wasn't covered, but if a shelter could be erected above it then it would make things much more pleasant washing dishes in the rain. Would definitely recommend this site and will return in the future.

Really nice location

Really nice location. Only stayed one night to test our new campervan. My 13-year-old daughter loved it. The dog was happy in the exercise field. Everything was there to accommodate us. Would like to revisit for a longer stay.

We have a new playground for our younger visitors but wanted to add something for our teenage guests so your daughter might be interested to know we are opening a ball games field with equipment to play rounders and football, as well as a circular route around the campsite for walking and cycling. Fabulous - points to Folly Farm!

A quick and peaceful break away from the rush of busy town. Efficient washing and shower facilities with nice warm water. Waste disposal point was very good and there was a separate recycle site as well. I also met some good, friendly people who helped me find my lost car-key☺️⛺️.
