The site is also within a 15 minute walk of pubs, shops and a train station, great for exploring without the car. Families and dogs are welcome too!

About Grange Farm Campsite
The site is in a great location nestled in the quaint Essex village of Thorpe-le-Soken and close to the popular coastal resorts of Clacton-on-Sea, Frinton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze. Located on a working farm, you can enjoy a peaceful setting with many pitches also having pondside views. There are just 50 pitches onsite, with the option of both grass and hardstanding. Tents, trailer tents, caravans and campervans are all welcome, with non electric and 16 amp electric pitches available. If you want to leave your car parked at your pitch, Thorpe-le-Soken train station is only a 15 minute walk away with connections to major local towns and London. A range of eateries are within a short walk too, great for nights off site. Evenings can also be spent enjoying a BBQ, just please ensure this is raised from the ground. Dogs can also join you for your stay, with up to two pups permitted per pitch. Please note that dogs are not permitted on the non electric grass backpacker pitches.
Grange Farm Campsite is open from 01/04 to 06/10.
There are three facility blocks consisting of two showers, four toilets and hand basins. You can also find two outdoor washing up sinks and one indoors.
Within a 15 minute walk you will find a Tesco Express, The Bell Inn Bistro, The Rose and Crown pub, plus Thorpe-le-Soke railway station.
Wifi is available onsite as a pay as you go service.

Just got back home from this lovely, peaceful site. Always well kept and clean. The owners, Mary & Glenn, are great hosts and always very helpful. Set in a lovely village with plenty of pubs and places to eat Micky & Mary (poodle).

Lovely quiet site with very clean toilets and showers. 10 minutes walk into Thorpe and some nice dog walks close by.

Onsite, guests can enjoy many walks through the peaceful farm fields and neighbouring footpaths. Ideal for keen wildlife spotters!
You're located in an ideal area to plan your day trips when not onsite. See over 270 species of animals at Colchester Zoo (35 minutes) and explore the 60 acres of stunning parkland and lakes. While there, make time for a ride aboard the Lost Madagascar Express.
For the little ones, head to Hastys Adventure Farm (15 minutes), an adventure farm specifically for children aged 3-11. There are a range of farm animals to meet including chickens, goats, sheep and more.
A day at the beach is also just a stone's throw away. Clacton-on-Sea, Frinton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze are all around a 15 minute drive from the site.
