About Smytham Holiday Park
Smytham is a tranquil and family-run park, set in rural North Devon. It's a beautiful area with rolling patchwork countryside, stunning views, fresh air, and the wide open spaces of Dartmoor and Exmoor. The park is set in 33 acres of parkland adjoining the old manor house which is still used as a family home. You'll have a choice of camping and caravan pitches, hardstanding, grass or all weather pitches. The pitches are level and terraced with water disposal points and fresh water taps placed helpfully around the touring field. The Orchard has a variety of large pitches that are 15m x 12m in size. Located in the Orchard are the only ensuite pitches in Devon. These pitches, as well as the facilities of a 'posh pitch', have their own ensuite facilities that are just yours for the duration of your stay. In the Orchard there are also 'posh pitches' - these are serviced grass and hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up, water tap, TV point, grey water point and a picnic bench. Standard pitches have 16-Amp electric hook up. On the other side of the driveway is a terraced area, level standard pitches with electric hook-up, grass or hardstandings. The old walled garden is great for smaller tents with sheltered level pitches close to the pool. All pitches in the walled garden have electric hook-ups. As well as traditional camping and caravanning, you can also holiday in one of the luxury of timber lodges or cosy camping pods. Your family pets are always welcome and there is plenty for your pets to explore.
