Two additional bean bags are also included inside. If you're looking for a quiet couple's getaway, nothing says romantic like the treehouse's stunning views overlooking Widemouth Bay. Camping Pod - Glamping PodsSep 2024

We stayed at this site a few years ago and wanted to try out the glamping surf pods for a late summer getaway. The campsite is a lovely area and we had a nice greeting with a straightforward check in. The groundskeeper was helpful when we were trying to find drinking water. The pod was clean and well equipped with a fridge, kettle and toaster. However, we found that the old wooden doors to the pod were not very secure, and didn't sit in the frame at all. So when they were closed, it left a gap of about an inch all around. This also meant they rocked back and forth with any wind, even when closed. I mentioned this when we were asked about our stay, and the gentleman replied that this was just the nature of it, that they had been like it for 13 years and weren't really meant for inclement weather or all year round (bearing in mind this was early September). Even though the campsite is lovely, I feel it's not worth £100 per night.

Good location, family friendly

Camping Pod - Glamping PodsAug 2024

All ok, place is well situated to Bude. Could walk there, mainly downhill. One thing was that the fridge didn't work when we got there and no replacement provided or offer to store our food somewhere else. Bag of ice was offered but with a 4 year old, we didn't want to risk the meat we bought keeping it in a warm fridge. So we had to throw most of our food out. We had to ask a neighbour to store some of the food. Other than the fridge issue and of lack of options to resolve the issue everything, else was good. Lots of families and like minded guests. Safe for kids. Will stay again. Also allowed us to check-in a bit early - thank you.
