Cragg Farm has a beautiful set of 3 camping pods. We stopped in the larger family pod and we were very impressed with the size and facilities it affords. Having it's own toilet and shower was brilliant and avoided the middle of the night trips to the toilet block with the young ones. The pod is well equipped and we happily cooked a few meals using the little kitchen. Catherine was a great host. A special thank you for recognizing our daughter's birthday in the way she did! Recommended!

We had the best time. Catherine works so hard to keep such an incredibly high standard. The pods were amazing, great quality and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful and perfect for our little family. Catherine was super friendly and we had a really lovely time! Would HIGHLY recommend. Thank you, Cragg Farm.

We booked for a long weekend at Cragg Farm and the place is perfect for what we needed. Everything inside the pod is spot on, beddings are clean and bed were comfortable. All we needed in kitchen were present, basically exceeded my expectations. My kids and I love The Lakes and we come up here many times, so we will definitely be coming back here again and will recommend this place to my friends ,families and colleagues. Thank you Catherine for being a wonderful host, you made our stay extra special.

Are stay at Cragg Farm Camping Pods was lovely. Location was decent, not too far from the necessities in a car. Nice and peaceful. The host was very welcoming and friendly and was more than happy to help with any questions and requirements. The pods are the best I have stayed in for size and en-suite bathroom. Overall the kids and myself was very happy with are stay and would definitely stay again.

This was our 5th stay at Cragg Farm Camping Pods with our young children ages 4 and 9. We cannot recommend the pods enough, they are kept in immaculate condition, comfortable and have the most amazing views. Catherine and her family are perfect hosts going above and beyond to ensure your stay is relaxing, fun and stress free. The pods have everything you need to get away from it all. From tea, coffee, biscuits and milk awaiting your arrival, gorgeous children's bedding and even night lights for children, Catherine has literally thought of everything to ensure you feel welcomed and relaxed.

What a gem! The pod is amazing and the views even better. Catherine and her partner have done an amazing job and looked after me and my boyfriend throughout. Booked for 2 nights and extended immediately, we loved it from the start! Great walks and restaurants scattered nearby. We will be back! Thank you!

We had a lovely couple of nights stay at Cragg Farm. To start with, Catherine was such a lovely lady, very friendly and welcoming. The postcode took us straight to the farm no hassle at all. The pods were located in a very well kept area with beautiful views. It's not a big site but it's lovely and the kids played out on the grass in front of the pods at any point we came back. They also loved watching the sheep and lambs in the surrounding fields. The pods themselves were very neat, tidy and very cosy. We stayed in the one with bunk beds and a sofa bed as we have 3 young kids and it was perfect - couldn't complain at all. Absolutely everything had been thought about and we were settled and content from the minute we opened the door. The location's great as it's very close to Cockermouth for anything you may need. We walked Ennerdale Water whilst we were there and Loweswater. Both stunning and kids loved it. We had an evening meal out at The Countryman which is a short drive from the site and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend for a quiet and peaceful getaway in a good location to the western lakes and coast. We would certainly go again.

Our first time to stay in a camping pod and it is a home away from home-complete with everything we need especially the shower which we love to have in the pod. The cleanliness is outstanding, not to forget the farm view situated above the hill which we enjoyed the sunrise and the sunset while having home cooked meals. The owners are amazingly friendly and very accommodating, willing to lend a helping hand when needed. A huge thanks to them. We highly and definitely recommend them to friends and family. The serenity of the place is excellent, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our experience staying in this camping pod exceeds our expectations. We love itπ.

Highly recommended, we planned for 2 nights but extended to 3. Kids loved it. Perfect location, plenty of things to do around the area. Catherine was so helpful, she thought of everything in the pods. Pods were clean and there was a-lot of space. Kids can't wait to come back. Thank you for a lovely time away.

Exceptional pod, highly recommend. The pod is finished to a very high standard and is very clean. Everything has been thought of, even washing up liquid, milk etc on arrival. The only thing you need to bring is your own towels. Catherine is so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend.

Fully equipped kitchen with ample space. Set in away from the main roads in a lovely sheep farm. Stunning views of the surrounding fells. Owner is very friendly and welcoming. Bring your own towels.

Our weekend stay in Cragg Farm pods was amazing and faultless. We could have stayed in the pod for days just looking at the view. Catherine and her family are so friendly and she is an excellent host. The pod was spotlessly clean and everything we needed was there including milk for a cuppa when we arrived. It was very safe for the kids to play around the area, as it was fully enclosed with only two other pods. The sheep on the adjacent farmland also provided kids with constant entertainment. As for the area, there are many things to do and see within a very short drive. We went for a lovely walk near Loweswater one day and then went to Whinlatter Forest the next day. Cockermouth is the nearby town, 5-6 min drive and has a good high street and supermarkets with a majority of friendly locals. We were very impressed by the whole experience and will be returning to stay again soon.

Great accommodation in a quiet and scenic part of the lakes, which provides a great base for day trips. The pod we stayed in was perfect for us. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and is kept in beautiful condition. Would highly recommend for families and couples looking for a quiet spot for a few days.

This was our first time "Glamping" and Cragg Farm pods will be a tough one to top! We throughly enjoyed our stay. Catherine the owner and host was so welcoming and great at communicating via email in the lead-up to our stay. She was very helpful with any questions once we arrived and only a phone call away if we needed anything. The Pod is right next to a field with sheep and little lambs only 2-3 days old, very cute! The children loved looking at them. Inside the pod, it was immaculate and at a luxury standard! Very well looked after which I personally loved. There's a welcome pack which contains everything you know- instructions on how to use the facilities like the oven, heating etc. There was also complimentary tea, coffee, hot choc, biscuits and small fresh milk in the fridge so you can get a cuppa when you first arrive. There was even a tin foil and cling film in the cupboard,d which was great since I totally forgot about bringing these items. The kitchen has everything you need, it's quite amazing how it all fits into one pod! The pod also has underfloor heating and a heated towel rail, which I thought was a nice touch and again gave the luxury feel. The beds were super comfy and the linen was ironed, fresh and clean! Location-wise, it was great for what we went for. We spent a full day at Aira Force waterfall, which is a 40 min drive away. There is lots more around the area. We only stayed for 2 nights, but will definitely be back for longer next time and explore the beautiful area. I have nothing negative to say at all. :)

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Catherine was very welcoming and it was very clean and comfortable. The perfect place to relax, had a walk locally and it was very peaceful. The view from our pod was also gorgeous. Handy for Cockermouth and the lakes. We will definitely be back in the summer for a longer stay π
