About The Laurels Holiday Park

This is a small, quiet and peaceful family-run park, ideally located in North Cornwall just 15 minutes from sandy beaches and within ten minutes of Padstow's harbour and Wadebridge and the Camel trail. Many of the pitches for both touring and camping are individually screened with ornamental trees and shrubs, providing a little more privacy for your holiday. The park's standard Gold Pitches all come with electric hook-up and a hedged boundary. These are suitable for tents, campervans, single axle caravans and motorhomes (on gravel only). Pitches sized at 6m x 8m. If you're in need of extra space, they have large electric grass pitches suitable for tents, campervans, and caravans. They are 12m x 8m - most do not have a hedged boundary. They also have large electric gravel pitches suitable for twin-axle caravans and large motorhomes, these pitches are 10 x 6m with a hedged boundary. Or there's the standard Silver Pitches which do not have electric hook up and do not have a hedged boundary - sized at 6m x 8m. Suitable for tents and campervans. Opt for the bell tent to save you the hassle of hammering in tent pegs, furnished with a double bed and two small z-beds it sleeps up to four. Bedding is included and shared facilities are nearby. The bell tents have an electric hook up and measure a spacious 12m x 8m. If it isn't camping without a campfire, the site has a limited number of fire pits for guests to hire, so that you can toast marshmallows of an evening. Dogs are welcome to join you if you are camping or touring, unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in the bell tents. There is even an enclosed dog area to let them off lead. Little ones are sure to love the playpark with a trampoline and spacious areas to play! The park also includes a selection of beautifully kitted out and furnished self catering cottages, which offer the chance of a dog friendly stay too. Do note that this is a peaceful family friendly site and large groups are not permitted.

VW-Type Campervan - Gold Gravel PitchesDec 2024

After booking there was good communication from the team including site layout, pitch allocation and winter routine. Also an update that signage had been blown down in a recent storm with additional route guidance - nice touch. The site itself is very well organised and well presented with immaculately trimmed hedges surrounding each pitch. There is great access from the site for Padstow and other beautiful areas of the north Cornwall coast. Facilities are very clean and modern, but only 4 stars, as for us the heating in the toilet block (which is only on for certain hours in winter) wasn't working, meaning it was very very cold in the block itself, although the water was warm. Overall, excellent value for money in what is a high quality, well presented and well serviced location.

VW-Type Campervan - Gold Gravel PitchesDec 2024

Nicely set out with individual bays for caravans and tents. The toilets and showers were very clean and light. The only down side was that the dog area was not big enough and had no fence on the road side to stop dogs jumping over the wall.

Great little site

VW-Type Campervan - Gold Gravel PitchesNov 2024

Very efficient and useful information by email before arrival, and simple quick check in. Extremely well-kept site with ordered, tidy pitches. Good clean toilet and shower facilities. For those with kids, a nice little pay area, even a trampoline. Brilliant bus service right outside the entrance. Pub within a 20 min walk. Access to Camel trail a bit further away though. A39 close by so a little bit of traffic noise at busy times. We will be back.

Site's response

Thank you, Peter! We are so pleased you had a great stay and we look forward to your return visit! Best wishes, Sarah and Jo.
