Pitch and Canvas offers camping and glamping in the heart of the Cheshire countryside with magnificent views of the Sandstone Ridge and Peckforton Hills. With hardstanding pitches and comfy pods, it's ideal for families and couples. There are also grass pitches and a yurt. There is an abundance of things to do close by, Treasure Trails, nature walks and great local attractions including, an ice cream adventure park and Chester Zoo.

We stayed a couple of nights, we wanted a quiet site to totally chill out and this site delivered. Close to Birkenhead for our onward travels to Ireland.

Great stay. The bell tent had everything we needed and a nice comfy bed. Great people on site and all the facilities were good. Will be staying again.

Found this last minute and was so much cheaper than others. Great location with ice cream farm and Bewilderness was not a far drive, great for kids. And Beeston Castle which is also amazing. 10/10 will defo be back, so safe and friendly.

Couldn't have asked for more! We went as family of 4 2x adults 2x children under 8. Site is well maintained, shower and toilet blocks were always cleaned and stocked. Plenty of space around our pitch (we had 2 cars).Close to ice cream farm, Crocky trail and other days out, local park was great for the kids! Overall a friendly site, chilled and relaxing atmosphere and will definitely be returning.

Stayed over with my family for a couple of nights. The site was very clean and had all the amenities you would require, showers toilets, water etc. I think there are pitches that have an electrical hookup if you want as well. The reception has a small shop on where you can get basic supplies, which is handy. You can also rent a fire pit for night time when it gets a little colder for about 12 quid I think. All in all we had a pleasant stay, lots of things around the area for trips out, Beaston castle, the ice cream farm etc. Tattenhall village has a couple of nice pubs as well. We will visit again.

We booked Pitch and Canvas for our first camping trip with our 3 year old as it was fairly local. Lovely fields. Plenty of space and tents were not on top of each other. Shower and toilet facilities were lovely and clean and staff very helpful. Shop only had basics but Tattenhall is a couple if minutes drive away and has all the essentials that you need, as well as a lovely children's play park. You can walk but as its country lanes we didn't risk it with a 3 year old. We had a fabulous weekend and will definitely be back.

We have some great news in that we have just finished building some styles and gates to link the campsite to the public footpaths. As of this weekend you will be able to walk to the village through the fields which will be much safer, especially with children. A lovely quiet family campsite. Plots well spaced-out and clearly marked. Toilets and showers are modern and very clean. Lots of room for a football away from the tents. Super friendly welcome and excellent shop. Lots to do locally - a day spent at BeWilderWood was good fun.

Had a fantastic stay here in the bell tent. The site is perfectly placed for lots of tourist attractions, family orientated and the owners were lovely and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights and the site was clean and tidy. Pretty flat fields for camping and not riddled with rocks, making pegging down the tent easy. The site is sectioned up and the 1st section has 3 enclosed sides which is helpful with young children, plus hedges and trees help to buffer the wind a little. The site manager (female) we dealt with was just lovely, so friendly and welcoming, even took my 6yr old in to see a little chick that had not long hatched!
