Set just over half a mile from Porth Neigwl or the Hell's Mouth surfing beach, Rhydolion is situated on the Wales Coast Path walks and many other local rambles, offering breathtaking views in all directions.
About Rhydolion
This camping and caravanning site is situated in a delightful countryside location on a working farm. It's close to the Afon Soch River, in a tranquil area perfect for a retreat by the southern coastline of the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales. All pitches are around two fields, one opening two months earlier in the year than the other to accommodate touring caravans. Grass pitches are available, and EHUs can be provided if booked and confirmed in advance. Dogs are allowed to stay by prior arrangement only, please contact staff.

Site rules and policies
PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY PERSON NOT CAMPING IN OUR FIELDS BUT USING OUR FACILITIES WILL BE CHARGED
NIGHTLY STAY EACH.
We try to ensure that everyone who stays on our campsite enjoys their visit. For this reason we have complied a set
of rules, which we expect everyone on site to abide by
1. All campers are to report to the farmhouse before setting up a tent even if previously booked. Tents and caravans
are parked around the fields so that campers can have a privacy and view with space kept in the center for field
games.
2. Dogs must be kept under control and on a lead at all times. Please ensure that all dog messes are cleaned up
even when taking your dog for a walk along the road or down to the beach. This is in the interest of hygiene for
everyone. Bag it and Bin it please.
3. Speed limits of 10mph is mandatory on both fields in the interest of everyone's safety especially children playing.
Anyone seen speeding cars will have to leave immediately.
4. Kite flying is permitted but only in the large field as there is an electricity line across and above the smaller field
where the kite could get tangled.
5. We do not allow any loud music and noise. No noise after 11p.m.
6. Bar-B-Q are permitted provided the smoke does not annoy your neighbor and the Bar-B-Q is on a stand to avoid
burning the grass. Please do not pull stones out of the wall, ask at the farmhouse if you do not have anything
suitable.
7. Fire Extinguisher is found in a cabinet to the right of the main entrance, half way between the entrance and field
facilities. Please do not open the cabinet, remove extinguisher or ring bells except in the event of an emergency. Any
interference with the equipment may mean it is not available in the event of an emergency. Any interference with
the equipment may mean it is not available or reacted to in the event of a real fire. Please report any incidents of
interference to us at the farmhouse immediately.
8. Camp fire is permitted but only by permission of the campsite owners pending on suitable area. It is necessary to
remove turf and replacing before you leave. If you haven't a spade please ask at the farmhouse. Please make sure
you know where the extinguisher is in the smaller field. Caution not to be too near a tent, car or any other item that
may cause fire is absolutely necessary.
9 No smoking inside any of the facilities
10 We do not allow fireworks to be used on the site at any time.
11. All persons using the site and its facilities do so at their own risk. No responsibility is accepted by the proprietors
for personal injury or inconvenience, loss or damage to personal property including vehicles.
12. Please treat the land, facilities and amenities on site with respect and care so that other guests may continue to
enjoy them. In the event that you notice damage to any facilities or amenity please report it to the farmhouse
immediately so that we can take the appropriate action.
13. Keep camping and caravan area clean and tidy. Do not drop litter around the site. It's not only messy but
dangerous to wildlife and farm animals.
14 We take care that the details within our advert are accurate, but we reserve the right to amend details without
prior notice.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THE ABOVE RULES WILL RESULT IN HAVING TO LEAVE THE SITE IMMEDIATELY

Things to do on site and in the Pwllheli area
The Llyn Peninsula is renowned for its beautiful beaches and water sports and being somewhere the Welsh language and way of life still flourish.
The picturesque village of Llangian with its shop and a 6th century church lies a mile away from the site. Llanengan village has a fine medieval church and a country pub one and a half miles away.
The well known surfing beach at Porth Neigwl - Hell's Mouth- is just over half a mile down the road. It accepts dogs all year round and despite the name is actually total heaven for surfers- great waves!
On the 50 mile Llyn Peninsula heritage coast, much of which forms an AONB, there are nineteen sandy beaches (three having the European Blue Flag status). So this is a perfect stop for anyone who loves the seaside! Kite flying, sandcastle building, cycling, windsurfing, bodyboarding and surfing are all on offer in the area.
One of the best beaches is Porth Ceiriad, which is sheltered by high cliffs and interesting rock formations.
A lot of guests are walkers taking a break during their challenge along the Wales Coast Path. For the even more serious walker, the Snowdonia National Park is only 13 miles from Pwllheli.
Making a name for itself as a boating resort is the village of Abersoch, 3 miles away, with many national boating events on offer.
The novice or experienced sportsperson will find plenty to do in the area. Choose from the Abersoch 18 hole golf course, pony trekking and riding, or shooting and archery. The district offers facilities for all forms of watersports.
St. Tudwal's Islands or Bardsey Island which has a large colony of seals are the top picks for nature lovers. These are well worth a visit on one of the pleasure boats.
