Spent a very peaceful night here surrounded by beautiful scenery. It’s a lovely piece of land that offers all the amenities we needed for our nights stay. They do offer hook up as well, though we didn’t need any charge on this occasion, but we have made a note for the future. We took advantage of the free breakfast, which was really convenient as it meant we didn’t have to make ourselves any washing up! The showers are lovely with hot water and great water pressure. As strange as it is to say the showers were very homey. I have made used of many public showers at camp sites and aires in Europe and more often than not they can give off a clinical/leisure centre vibe, but these were done out to be cosy and inviting. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Stayed here for the night with my partner and dogs. The site had very good layouts for pitches for tents, motorhomes and campervans. The staff were so welcoming and helpful and attentive during our whole time of our stay and couldn't be more helpful when asking for help or assistance! The facilities on site are really good, plenty of facilities available. Would highly recommend staying here whenever near by, on route for travelling or looking for a site that's very picturesque. The site has amazing views and trails at this location. Will definitely be back here and can't wait too stay at this location again!

I stayed for 1 night in early Feb and had a great stay. Due to it being in the off season, I think we were the only tent on site, with a number of caravans. The staff were friendly and the facilities were fantastic. A nice warm shower and time by the roaring fire for a bit warmed the soul before a night in the tent. Good location for access to the Loch Lomond area with some great walking nearby. I'll be staying here again.

It's a great spot along the West Highland Way. Plus, to top it all off the hosts are lovely. I stayed here for a night and would definitely visit again. It has everything you need, and the sunrise view is worth every penny.

What a great location, friendly staff and excellent service. We particularly loved that it is a dog friendly site, we have 3 dogs and have experience of other sites limiting to 2 maximum, not the case here! Plenty of walks nearby, right on the West Highland Way. Great communal areas, tea and coffee, the continental breakfast was included and we were able to do our washing for a small cost.

I'm a full time Van lifer and use the full range of facilities available to me across the United Kingdom. I was unaware of this site, but as I was in the area I decided to give it a go. I've written down the location, only as it could be a challenge getting in with bad weather. I have experience in driving in all conditions, but folks might initially be a bit wary of the hill. That said, this is a real gem of a campsite. With amazing facilities and the best of twists on your normal sterile environments. An AMAZING house and amazing welcome from the owners. The house itself is connected to John Muir and sits on both the John Muir Way and the West Highland Way. What a superb stop over. The house is great but the choice of pitches is also great. Lots of places for both tents and Motorhome's and caravans. The communal areas are both inviting and communal. Indeed this is the hidden gem. The ability to mix with others and spend time (if you wish) to engage with fellow travellers. As a single traveller, this was a really nice touch and indeed is key to the charm of this site. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but for me it left a superb feeling knowing that not all sites need to be the same. I loved the social aspect of the site and can't commend the owners enough for their vision to be different whilst also providing a "social" model found in the US and in more "lifestyle" centred campsites. Suffice to say, I'm a fan, and will look forward to returning and very much hope this site goes from strength to strength. Gavin

Had an awesome stay over new year at this beautiful location. Very welcoming staff with friendly strokable dogs relaxing by the wood fire. Location second to none and very accessible to local walk trails and hikes. Would definitely recommend and will book again if we are up that way in the future.

Really lovely campsite with great amenities, staff are really kind and helpful. The whole back story of the campsite is really inspiring for what they are doing for homeless and local residents. Great location and stop for dogs with endless walks locally. 10/10 would highly recommend.

We loved our 2 night stay and would not hesitate to re visit when next in the area . All facilities were clean and tidy, we even went for an evening meal in the main house which was first class . There was free tea and coffee, along with juices available and also the option of a free breakfast if you wanted it, we had our own in the van and didn't think it was fair to take advantage of this facility. Overall, it was a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this site to others. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We have only good things to say about the West Highland way campsite. We have stayed at many campsites in Scotland but no where compares. The location is beautiful with views from every point and at the beginning of the West Highland Way only just 20 or so minutes from Glasgow. The breakfast is amazing and 24 hour tea and coffee was a really good surprise. Great facilities. We had a lovely welcoming and the host really cares. Thankyou Andrew and Robyn for being so welcoming. Will stay again!

We stayed here on the 2nd of December and had such a great time, The owners and staff were super friendly and helpful. It was great to see them always ready to help and always with a smile. The place itself is very clean and gorgeous. Like you're in the home you always wanted. Set in fantastic gardens with good west highland way walks right at the end of the drive. We would highly recommend this as it's a good example of what Scotland is about and a perfect base to explore it from.
