Tollgate Farm Camping and Caravan Park is a family-friendly campsite just a 30 minute walk from the fantastic Perranporth beach. With views of the sea and dunes, the park caters for families and couples with lots of dog walks nearby. Don't forget to keep an eye out for a wealth of wildlife too! Popular takeaway trucks on site serve a range of great food options. There are even cosy pods available to hire (max two couples).

About Tollgate Farm Caravan and Camping Park
This quiet, family run park has acres of countryside to explore and is an excellent base for your Cornish holiday. Head on one of the many walking routes to the beach or lend a helping hand at the farm on site, home to goats, piglets, guinea pigs and more. Aiming to keep things natural as possible, the site encourages lots of different wildlife and has planted many trees and shrubs over the years. Pay a visit to the bug hotel or if you forgot the salt, pick your favourite seasoning from the help yourself Herb Garden. The park offers a variety of spacious pitches for both camping and touring within four enclosed areas, most with lovely sea views. Perran Field is ideal for those without children in the quieter months, and it has its amenities block, and all but ten pitches have an optional 16-Amp hook-up. Willow is the largest field with large grass pitches, and it's where the hardstandings and fully serviced pitches are located - there is a optional hook-up to every pitch. The Rose Field is smaller and offers optional electric to all pitches. Meadow Field only takes 2-4 man tents and smaller campervans. If you're looking for home comforts, then choose one of the five well-equipped camping pods available. With miles of great walks nearby, dogs are very welcome!
Tollgate Farm Caravan and Camping Park is open from 27/03 to 30/09 in 2024 and from 05/04 to 30/09 in 2025.
Site facilities include family shower rooms, accessible shower rooms and a large play field with play area, tennis net, football goal etc away from the caravan and camping fields. Onsite wardens are available. There is a drive over waste point for motorhomes. The site shop is fully licensed and stocks all the essentials. The showers have hairdryers.
There is a help yourself herb garden on site and wildlife experiences for children.There are various takeaway trucks onsite morning and evenings during the week in the busier months and serve breakfasts and a variety of evening meals. These range from BBQ, loaded fries and nachos, woodfired pizza, beautiful coffee, pastries and bagels, lovely breakfasts and classic fish and chips.
A bus stop is 50 yards from the site, heading towards Newquay or Truro and the villages in between.

Second visit to this campsite, definitely recommend it to others, the place is clean and well kept, the pods are great especially with the bad weather we had. The pods had everything we needed so could pack light and still have a nice place to stay. The site has everything within reach, facilities include a place to wash your mucky pup to Wi-Fi to cover low phone coverage. The site is close to the beach and has beautiful views every morning and evening.

A fabulous site, very welcoming and informative, the pitches are a lovely size and site is well maintained. Facilities are fab and spotless, there is a handy little shop on site. I will certainly recommend and will use again.

Things to do on site and in the Perranporth area
Whether you're an early riser or prefer to take the slower pace, there is plenty to do within the area.
Kids can help the team feed its animals and saying hello to the friendly residents.
You can't fault this location either - it's about 45 mins to an hour from all that Cornwall has to offer.
You can be in Newquay in 10 minutes, in St Ives within half an hour, or at Land's End in 45 minutes.
There are plenty of walks for you and your dogs - Perranporth beach is dog friendly and has RNLI lifeguards on duty too.
