Stayed here for one night in a Campervan! Loved the fact that you can book online, they send your pitch number and then your done. Beautiful views, it was quiet and friendly. The site has everything you'd need, the facilities were lovely and clean, I would use these again.

Well organised site with excellent facilities, close to Dolgellau and some great walks and bike rides. The only downside is that it is close to a very busy and noisy A road. Otherwise, the setting is beautiful.
Nice, tidy site, not too far from town

Perfect location for exploring, we visited lots of national parks and towns around us. The pitch we had was a big size with a water tap as well, which was a bonus. The site was self check in so we never actually spoke to anyone! The facilities were nice but there was only two toilets in the girls which made it difficult and they got gross quite quickly. I will say they were cleaning them twice a day, so it was more other people than the site. Peak season made it very busy, so it's supposed to be quiet after 11pm but it was very loud to the early hours. Also, I would say it's one of the more expensive sites I've been too, but once again, I don't know if that's because it's August. I would personally visit again just out of peak season, as I think I would be able to enjoy the site more. Overall, more positive than negative!

We booked last minute for 2 electric pitches for tents, got both together which was good. We were on the overflow site, so was up a bit of a hill which would be too steep for wheelchair access. Also, one of our party lost part of bottom bumper on the hill. Site was really quiet, pitches in our section were spread out. No problems with electric. Showers & toilets clean. Plenty of showers, never had to queue, water wasn't boiling but good temp. We borrowed a fire pit for £25 which when you returned, got £20 back, so £5 for full stay wasn't bad. We even saw the Northern Lights, which was amazing. Nice national park nearby, Barmouth beach is lovely, about 50 min drive from Portmerion.

Lovely stay at Torrent Walk. Pitch was a good size for our large tent and facilities on site good and friendly staff. There is some road noise in the day but it's minimal and didn't impact us. Great location for getting round to everything in the area.

Great location for climbing Cadair Idris and visiting local attractions. The site was very busy. however, it was quiet at night which was great! My only concern were the very limited number of toilets and showers for the number of people on site, some could also do with updating. There was plenty of nice hot water though.
Noisy road

Great location for visiting Dolgellau and making the most of local walks. This park is lovely and clean but it is located under a busy road. The noise from motorbikes on a Sunday morning (when they tend to be out for their weekend spins) was unreal.
Great site, look forward to returning

We have loved our stay. It's a great site, well located for us wanting to explore the Mach loop and having the beautiful Torrent Walk on the doorstep is perfect. We enjoyed a walk there every evening. It has been quite a wet week and I think if the site had been busier, or if there had been anymore rain, it would have been a very muddy site, not a problem if you are pitched along the road side. The site is so accommodating for so many different campers and groups, but I would recommend checking the dates for any festivals in Dolgellau as over the weekend, the site had a lot of very loud very drunk youngsters camping in large groups coming back very loudly at 2am. There was a member of staff trying her best to get them quiet but without much success, I understand why so many sites don't allow group bookings. Toilet and shower facilities were great and near most pitches, plenty of hot water. Pitches were a great size. Overall a lovely stay and we will be back.

A great little family campsite, even though I was a solitary male camping. It was a wonderful stay and I shall certainly be heading back with my kids in tow.

Great location not far from town centre and food places, pubs and shops. Ideal if you want to go to other places like Bala etc. Facilities are spotless, cleaner on site from morning until late at night, keeping facilities spotless. Fridge and freezer to share, washing machine and dryer and microwave and kettle. Sinks to wash dishes. Free hot showers, men and women, with overspill showers when busy. Site has camping caravan pitches, lodges etc.

The campsite is very convenient for Cadir Idris if you are intending to climb it. Do not use this site if you want peace & quiet as it is situated next to a very busy road. I would recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper. There is a rule that noise is kept to a minimum after 11pm, but this was not followed by the usual type of selfish campers and not enforced as well as I would like. I did enjoy the site as the facilities were great & clean, but have no intention of returning because of the road.

Great site and fantastic location, could not get much better. A notice board with details of walks, bike rides and how to get to the bike park. I had a great time, love the site. Thanks, will be back. Just one thing, why are the urinals running all the time with hot water, must cost a lot.

A very busy site, we arrived and the pitch we were given wasn't very flat for our campervan. I went to the office where I was greeted by a tattooed Polish lady who was fantastic, so helpful and couldn't do enough for our needs - a very valuable member of staff.
