About the site
Enjoy a peaceful countryside retreat to this rural adult only site. Kickback, relax and enjoy some great nearby walks, bring your horse along and take them for a canter or drive just 15 minutes to Bury St Edwards and 20 minutes to Thetford for some fun days out! The site welcomes tents, touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans to their selection of grass pitches. The non electric grass pitches measure 12m x 15m, while the electric grass pitches measure 12m x 12m and have access to 10 amp electric hook up. There are three camping pods onsite, all of which are unfurnished but have lighting and electric sockets. Outside you will find a picnic bench and space to park your car. Please make sure to bring everything you would typically bring camping, minus the tent of course! The camping pods all have access to shared facilities. The Sunset View camping pod also has an electric hot tub for you to relax under the stars in! There are also a range of holiday lodges onsite. Guests can enjoy direct access to Kings Forest which is ideal for country walks and has an open access policy for horse riders. If you're bringing the horse, not only do you have access to the spacious stables and paddock but you're just a 20 minute drive from the horse-racing town of Newmarket! Dogs are more than welcome to join you on the pitches and in the pods with a warm doggy shower for them to enjoy too! If you're after dinner al fresco, BBQs are permitted please just make sure they are raised off the ground. Open fires are only allowed in raised fire pits.
