We chose to stay at this campsite due to its location to Burnham-on-Sea and the immediacy of the firework display and the carnival procession at Burnham during our stay. We were very impressed with the Super Pitch and its location in the campsite. The facilities within the site are second to none, including the Nite Owl clubhouse which also supplies both eat in or take away food at reasonable prices. The entertainment on Friday and Saturday of our stay was ideal for the families staying during this time, including bingo. There is also an indoor pool and gym and an outdoor pool (not sure this was in use at this time of the year). A fully stocked shop was also open when we arrived yet strangely, it closed on 4th November when the campsite was still quite busy until Spring 2025. This disappointed us greatly as there are no local shops nearby and a car is required if needed to top up. Motorhomers take note. The toilet and shower facilities were very clean and well maintained. The negatives are a very lax attitude to security where the barriers are open all day meaning anyone can enter or leave. Also, we were given a pass for the clubhouse but no one questioned anyone about their entry. There is also a pedestrian gate to the rear of the site which leads onto a main road. Access to this is open to all. A coded gate access system would help to make entry/exit that more difficult for the general public. Overall though, we would return to this site as the general standards throughout are excellent.
Could be one of the best sites

Firstly, I must say, the super pitch we stayed on was perfect in every way and was maintained to a very high standard. But that's the best bit of the site sadly. It was £150 for 3 nights which doesn't include swimming which cost us a family of 6, 4 paying users, £13 a day. Add that to the bill and I could have stayed at a major branded site with all this included plus much more. The clubhouse was oaky for light entertainment taking into consideration it was October and seasons are ending. The arcades had more machines not working then working and really could do with an overhaul for the children's sakes. Toilet block was dated but was clean on the Saturday but no much on the Sunday, bad timing or good timing which ever way look at it. One last note the touring pitches are situated by a very busy B-road which can be disturbing through the night when you want so peace and quiet or and the trains. 3 stars overall based solely on my experience on other touring sites. Probably won't visit again but wish them all the best in the future.

Just returned from a wonderful few days at Home Farm. We will definitely be back. Reception were great, pool was lovely and warm, everything clean and well maintained. The park and evening entertainment were just brilliant and the entertainer was classic old school and the kids just loved it. 6 min drive to the beach and easy to access from the motorway.

I felt the space for the caravan was very small, especially when trying to reverse it in. Luckily, it wasn't very busy so I had a space opposite to manoeuvre if it was full or busy, I'd struggle to get it in hitch up or un-hitch. Very disappointed with the dog walk area. It was very wet and muddy, and the ground itself was very wet. The site was clean and tidy. I'd prefer a super pitch but dogs not allowed, yet on other sites I've been to, they are. Also was noisy with trains and traffic. Nice greeting, staff friendly and welcoming.

Great location, just a shame about the trains using the horn at all hours. The place itself was fantastic. Staff very helpful, food was good, fishing wasn't bad either.
Amazing stay we loved it friendly and everything you need

This is a great place for a family holiday. It has all the facilities that you would need and expect to see on a much bigger site. All the staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. Everywhere was clean and tidy. The toilet and shower blocks were cleaned multiple times a day. There is plenty for kids to do. It is fairly level for camping and the pitches are all a good size. There is a lovely lake where you can feed the ducks and some people were fishing. Some of the static caravans were lucky enough to look out on to it. The only downside is that there is a fairly noisy road just outside. If you like trains, there is a track close by and they do blow their horns through the night. This was our second visit and we have had a great time.

Showers are big and lovely and warm, plus exceptionally clean. Big club house and the food was lovely.

Although it's clear they are spending money on the site, certain areas are very basic and tired. Be careful when booking if you would like internet access, as only premium pitches have access and if you have a dog, you can't book this pitch. We had no TV and two unhappy teenagers. Evening entertainment and bar area is ok, catered towards younger children. A little bit worrying when security arrived at 6 o'clock.

We were very happy with the campsite. The staff were polite and friendly and the facilities were very clean. The only suggestion I would make to change would be in the shower (which was lovely and warm and powerful). I would have a shelf high up to put your clothes on, as the shower had a fine spray that slightly wet the clothes that were placed on the small stool. Apart from this little suggestion, the campsite was great.

Enough to do to keep kids occupied, big and small. We liked the relaxed approach to pitching. Entertainment was good but club house was very busy at the weekend. Loved the outdoor pool.

I have never been more disappointed with a site. We had previously spent four nights at a site down the road and loved it but as they were fully booked, we couldn't extend our stay there so we booked Home Farm for two nights. We booked a grass electric pitch with a dog at £61 a night. We turned up and realised the pitch was under a tree, so it was very dark. It was also on a muddy pitch where the grass had clearly not been cut for weeks, it was so long. It was very disappointing. The water tap to fill up my aqua roll was a push button, like in most showers, and the flow was slow, so I had to press hard for a long time to fill up the aqua roll. The site itself felt very claustrophobic, no open spaces around the caravan and it felt very crammed in. Compared to the site we had just left, this site did not feel like a holiday at all and I did not feel welcome here. All the literature given had warnings about what not to do, rather than the holiday feel of the previous site, which encouraged you to enjoy your stay. Home Farm had a lot of rules. One of which was that no fans were allowed inside the caravan. It was boiling hot and we had a dog and young children, staying in a caravan at the height of summer without a fan is unbearable. My children used the outdoor pool facility, which was freezing cold, though I'm sure if we had had a long hot summer, it would have been a pleasant experience. The on-site shop was reasonably stocked with an unwelcoming member of staff serving. The showers and toilets were perfectly fine. The rules stipulated that you couldn't walk your dog over other parts of the site, just the dog walk, which was a short routed path with an open fence set around the site. This meant you are unable to let your dog off the lead for a good run. The other let down was the road noise from the site. We were sited right next to a busy road so the traffic noise was terrible and not relaxing. As well as that, there is a busy train line that is high speed which adds to the noise. As you were not allowed fans, the only option to keep cool was to open your windows, but this made sleeping difficult with the road noise. We paid for two nights but decided to leave after the first. One reason being that we just weren't enjoying our stay there and the other, because the check out time was 10am, which I find unusually early for a campsite. We would have had to wake up very early in order to get packed up, the awning down and three children ready to go by 10am. As check in isn't until 12 noon, I would expect this two hour window would allow the site to carry out simple maintenance duties, like mowing the grass on the pitches.

The only thing that was difficult for us was the dog friendly grass pitches were not very clearly marked out and we ended up on a pitch that was not really a clearly marked pitch. Apart from that, it was a great site, especially for our grandson.
Definitely coming back!

Fantastic site. Plenty to do onsite and close to everything. Site always kept clean by 2 amazing people. Only one reservation was the large skip/bin kept between pitches and club house which smelt terrible at times. 100% recommended to everyone, had an amazing week away.

Location was good and we had a great time. Food in restaurant was good value and entertainment was good. They had few problems with some bits not working correctly at times, booking system for swimming, toilets did not flush at busy times in morning and at pool change over times. Automatic car registration reader was a pain as did not work first 3 days. Had a great outdoor pool our grandson loved, though we thought time limits were not always necessary when pool was not busy.

Good young children entertainments. Adult entertainment was all samey - singers and bands. Close to busy road and trainline. Pool cues were unusable despite having to pay a deposit and raking £'s all day for the pool table. Swimming pool surfaces/windows etc needed a good clean, water was bit icky although this was paid in addition to the £400 for the week we paid. Wi-Fi was non existent. Good location for Cheddar Gorge and cider farms etc. Just 2 toilet blocks which were kept in decent state, but lacking in investment with decent hand dryers and showers that soak your clothes due to no shielding.

Absolutely brilliant campsite. Clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and polite. The location was ok, not too far from the town centre, within easy walking distance.
