Gorgeous site! Access to toilets, showers, Wi-Fi, power spots, laundry, and even a free continental breakfast! The owner and staff have been incredibly kind and accommodating every time my partner and I visit. We will continue to pass through and stay at this space, an absolute dream and incredibly helpful.

Our first thoughts were how beautiful the surroundings and location were. Then we met the staff and they were so friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the food was delicious. Not a bad word to say about the place! Thank you for making our stay a memorable one!

Having mis-calculated my progress to my intended stop over, I booked and arrived within the hour to this campsite. I was delighted at the friendly and informative welcome even though it was quite late. The staff were very helpful and the food delicious. Sitting in the very Scottish lounge by a roaring fire and chatting away with staff and campers was a perfect end to the day's hiking. This is one campsite not to be missed and the views are extraordinary. Can't wait to re-visit. Highly recommended and definitely not expensive.

Had a great night sitting with in the lounge listening to stories from other customers in front of a roaring fire, loved it! A hot roll at a small cost was the perfect way to start the day too, can't fault it. The staff bend over backwards to help. As I mentioned, 2 things make this stay worthwhile, the location and staff. The location is second to none with the views being stunning. The staff go well out of their way to help, especially when an idiot forgets to pack the essentials such as lights and firewood, both of which were supplied by the staff from their own accommodation. The chef for dinner was great, getting my steak absolutely perfect and my wife said the Mac 'n' Cheese was great too! Plenty of walks to take too, although I didn't do any this time, I definitely will upon my next visit. Only downside to it is a pack of a small shop with essentials, but the local village is just a few minutes away.

I have stayed here a couple of times now and absolutely love it. Great facilities and an amazing clubhouse that is open 24/7. The staff are absolutely so helpful and always on hand to help. Sorry not to have reviewed this place before. See you all again very soon.
Never again

Beautiful setting and if owner put effort in, then it would be an amazing place to stay. Sadly, it feels that there hasn't been much effort put in to making it a great camp. It was like we had camped in a car park. Muddy uneven pitches. Very noisy at night with people and cars. It seems that no one oversees the running of the site. No procedures in place to ensure everyone has a great experience. There is a chocolate lab allowed to run off lead even though it tried to bite my small nervous rescue dog. I had to ask for the dog to be kept on lead but this was not done. The whole experience was very disappointing and we will definitely not be back!
Friendly welcome and the breakfast was a surprising extra

The site was very simple to book through Campsites.co.uk. We were greeted on arrival, indicated where to pitch and shown around the facilities. There were comfortable sitting areas, a dining and breakfasting space. The pitch itself had a great outlook over the valley, the picnic table and good lighting made the pitch even more attractive. There were cooked meals offered in the evening, free tea and coffee at all times, and a basic breakfast included. There appear to be many long term guests but there was still plenty of space for tourers and everyone was very welcoming. We took a walk through the village to the local Inn (1.5miles), it was well worth the walk, just don't forget your torch.

The site is friendly, well run and suited our requirements but was basic. Facilities were in need of some attention. Was expensive. Food was available but again expensive - £20 for a cheeseburger, chips and salad - tasty but seemed pricey.

Set in a beautiful spot, this park was an accidental but great find. Welcomed and shown around by someone who obviously loves the site. A basic breakfast was included in booking fee, which was a pleasant surprise on arrival. The only slight downside is the inadequate shower/toilet facilities, but with patience it is manageable. Would definitely go back if the chance ever presents it.

This is a nice site, if a little cramped when it's busy. They serve food on site, which we felt was a bit overpriced (£15 for soup and £20 for a burger/fish & chips) but would be convenient. The showers/loos need more frequent cleaning, restocking and maintenance. They were permanently dirty while we were there. There is fresh water available and is in a great location for the West Highland Way.

The position of this campsite is perfect, in that it is close to Loch Lomond and Glasgow. The site itself overlooks vast green hills and is a beautiful, truly Scottish landscape. The owner has turned his land into a campsite ( with and without electric hook ups) for the sole purpose of funding housing for the homeless, who are housed in an alternative site. You can purchase quality food at the main house, and seek warmth from the cold elements also. We couldn't have been more impressed with the entire set up, and would strongly recommend this site, to anybody, adding that their monies will be put to good causes. Hats off to the owner, for his selfless kindness.

Unfortunately, we would not stay here again. The description and pictures on the website feel removed from reality. With the accommodation options available, I felt the showers and toilets for the number of visitors were not acceptable.

When we arrived the owner Andrew greeted us and was very pleasant but obviously stressed, saying "you know what it's like, Scottish campsites are too busy on weekends". We have a large bell tent and all the available pitches were on a slope, which isn't ideal but was in a lovely bit of woodland. There were a lot of tents crowded around but was generally quiet as it was very wet and windy. After putting up our stuff, we looked around and saw the problems immediately. Too many people and nowhere near enough facilities. People queuing in the rain to use one of the few toilets. People queuing to wash up plates, have showers and no adequate hot water. Lovely en-suite style toilets and shower rooms but nowhere near enough of them and very dirty, wet and unhygienic. I've camped all across the UK and Europe and the facilities (while looking lovely) were the poorest I've ever used. This was not a 5 star experience as claimed and not worth the money I paid. Not even close. Why have beautiful toilets and en-suites when there are too many people to get in or appreciate? Please rethink this for a better experience. The next two nights, we got very little sleep as the site was loud, people drinking and shouting all night. No staff to help. Bad atmosphere and lots of arguments. I honestly couldn't wait to leave. The owner probably has a nice heart and a social vision, but the experience was poor.

The site is in a convenient location close to Glasgow, but still feels like you are away from it all. Found it a bit disorganised. itches weren't numbered or assigned, bit of a free for all. We witnessed people taking pitches where people had nipped away for a couple of hours. Food was nice enough but very overpriced.

A really lovely stay, we had the bell tent and it was very clean and with 2 double airbeds with pillow and duvet included. The beds were very comfortable. You can park your car by the tent and there is an area for campfires nearby. The free breakfast is great, cereals/fruit/toast and tea or coffee. The kettle is available all day and we could charge our phones in the house. A really easy going atmosphere from the staff and no stress checking in or out. Accessible by car or public transport. Friendly environment on campsite, nice mix between families, hikers, tourists and vans. I'd highly recommend and will be staying again myself :)
