The star attraction of this spot has to be its tempting coastline, rich with sandy beaches. Dawdle to Whitesands Beach and settle in on a deckchair, play a few beach games or go surfing on the ocean blue. This is the kind of beach you've dreamed of all year round!

Once you're ready to spread your wings, a walk along the coastline is a great way to round things off. Or you might get tickets on a boat trip, casting off to meet the locals - everything from charming seals to quirky puffins.

Just a few miles further, you'll be among the brightly coloured boats of Solva Harbour, which has its own, pretty tidal beach.

Once you've got plenty of sand in your shoes, it's time for a well earned break in Wales' mini cathedal city. The cathedral itself is really worth seeing in St Davids and there are plenty of delicious ice cream parlours, which will go down a treat.
