Have not been camping for a few years so we decided on a 2 night break to see how things went. Had a new tent so this was a 'trial run' before going away for longer. What a great site to visit. Good facilities, helpful friendly staff. Mobile signals are very hit and miss and the site guest Wi-Fi is not great, but other than that we could not fault the place. 2 adults, 1 small dog, no issues.

Nice clean showers & toilets. Reception helpful & friendly. I think that the food bars should be on more regularly, not just when football is on.

We really enjoyed our short stay, thank you. The site was well kept, clean and tidy and we found it safe for our children. There were ample toilet facilities, bins and taps etc. The reception staff and afternoon warden was very friendly and kind. We've booked to come again. Thank you.

Our stay was amazing! The campsite is in a fantastic location right next to the beach and we saw seals every day. Staff are great and super helpful, and the facilities are clean and well maintained. Will definitely be coming back.

Campsite has a perfect location right next to the beach. Pitch for tent was grassy clean and flat. Showers were very clean and nice, just the water a bit too hot for our liking. But probably better to be hot than cold 😃 We booked for Saturday, Sunday night but arrived on Sunday morning. Knowing that Saturday, we couldn't make it early prior booking the pitch, we called and were told that we can arrive if we can make it at around 9:30-10pm, which was perfect for us. After booking, a week before the booked date, I called to confirm the late arrival and I was told the latest is 8pm, which we couldn't make in time, so were told we can arrive early Sunday morning starting from 8am. Then again, I called on Saturday to tell that we will be arriving on Sunday and was told the earliest arriving time is 9am. So felt like there is a bit of confusion of timetable. Luckily, we were planning to arrive around 10am and it didn't affect our Sunday plan. Other than that our experience was perfect! It's a great campsite, definitely will come again soon!

Great location for the beautiful beach, saw some seals as well. Large shower cubicles with hot water and very clean. Good on site shop. Food vans on site. Plenty for children to do. Different types of pitches to suit all tastes.

Good, well maintained site. Close to beach, friendly staff. Clean toilets, showers, laundry. Nightly food trucks available - nice food but a bit pricey. Particularly liked the 10pm quiet time notices.

Beautiful campsite in the middle of nowhere, directly on the beach,. Seeing the seals on the beach was amazing. Would definitely book Monday to Friday next time, as on Friday afternoon, all the families turn up for the weekend and are noisy. A lot of dogs barking through the night, much more peaceful during the week. Staff were very helpful, toilets and showers really clean.

Waxham Sands is a lovely camping site with great staff. They were always very polite & helpful. Plenty of toilet blocks that were kept clean. The toilets near the shop were pretty bad at weekends, not the cleaners fault, just the dirty people that used them. Safari tent with TV for the football was a godsend for my husband. Only one shower block with probably 9 showers, so never had to wait & they are good. The little shop sold plenty of goods, loads of different ice creams. Great little laundry room, I used everything. The Wi-Fi not very good, never worked at weekends and was on & off in the week. 4g signal didn't work very well either. The grass really let the site down, not cut much and when it is not picked up, it can get trampled in the tent.

Staff are very welcoming, the site is very clean and tidy, set right next to Horsley beach. The on site shop was reasonably priced with a variety of essential items. The firepit is a nice feature to get everyone together, a couple more dotted about on site would be nice. There are communal BBQ's around the site, showers, toilets, play park, a games tent, though they could do with modernising the games and maybe add a few more. There was a ice-cream van, alcohol van and food van though I found these to be a little overpriced. I would highly recommend this site for families or just a quiet relaxing break away.

Really friendly, professional reception staff, made us feel welcome. Easy walk to beach, lovely to walk with the dog at 07:15 in morning on a remote beach. Good shop with varied goods. Varied pop up food stalls and a mobile bar. Though, not too sure if the person who served me two take away passion fruit martini's knew how to make them, as at £12 for the two, they did not seem to have much (if any) alcohol. It was just a very sweet, gloppy concoction. Great customer relations by putting a large TV in the marquee so campers could watch the Euros. One point for a senior citizen recovering from broken shoulder, it would be useful to have a small ramp at the grey/waste water drainage point (main block) because, as it stands. you have to lift a 'heavy' container into the drain to empty said container. Other than that and the weather, we had a very relaxing enjoyable time and am sure we will visit again.

We have stayed here several times but this is the first time since the new company have taken over. The site is clean and well maintained with great access to the beach. The pitch size was perfect and the facilities were kept clean throughout our stay. The food vans and the safari tent are a nice addition.

A super trip for a family, having such close access to the dunes and beach is amazing. The play parks were also thoroughly enjoyed, facilities great, though with all camping facilities, I'd say take a shower cap if you want your hair to stay dry as the showers spray wide! It was very wet when we went and the ground holds the water, so take wellies!

We had an amazing stay during half term! Lovely and friendly staff, great facilities, it was an absolutely amazing spot. We have seen so many seals! My only one bug was the toilets got very slippy. They did have a wet floor sign, but they could of done with being mopped more often. Other than that minor thing, the place was clean. We will definitely be going back!

We arrived at Waxham Sands on Friday evening and were greeted by a lovely young lady who directed us to our pitch and gave us a map. They went through the food options that were available throughout the weekend, which was fantastic (didn't realise they arranged food trucks). We wanted to get fish and chips, and lo and behold, there was a fantastic chip van there (reasonably priced too!). I hadn't done a lot of research before booking and was so surprised to see the site so well equipped! The amenities area was perfect for those families staying, enabling the adults to relax and enjoy the sunset while the sproggos played on the park situated next to the benches (and bar😉). Toilets were spotless and were plenty to choose from throughout the site. Showers were clean and the shop had all you needed plus a coffee machine which was a god send as we forgot to pack coffee! The campsite is pet friendly with direct access to the beach, which was the main reason for booking. However, if like me, you didn't do much research before booking, I wasn't aware of the seals at this beach. I won't lie, they were absolutely beautiful to see/watch, but this did worry me a little with the children playing on the beach. I didn't want them to go in the water (this probably would have been harmless but I don't know, you just don't mess with nature in my eyes). Again I should have probably should have done my homework on this. Overall, it was a lovely first time camping trip and we would definitely return.
Another great weekend!

Been here a few times, great site. The staff are amazing, so friendly and always smiling. The ablutions are always clean and tidy. The electric charger is a good addition. Love the shop, very reasonable prices for all the goodies. The only downside were the roads, maybe some gravel similar to the entrance would sort the problem out. But we have booked again, back in June! Great site!

Amazing location - unsure if would return due to restricted shower times. Really lovely site. Amazing location. Very short walk to the amazing horsey beach where we spotted hundreds of seals. Food vans on site were a great addition. Lovely children's play area. Well stocked shop. Check in very easy. Very wet weekend - a number of pitches were flooded and the grass hadn't been fully mown (assume because of the weather?) and there didn't seem to be enhanced cleaning of the loos as you'd expect when it's so muddy. Showers - lovely new showers although only open 8am (or 8.20am one morning!) until 9pm. The best trip we did from here was a wildlife boat trip from Martham. We all loved this. Also, if visiting Cromer visiting the lifeboat station is very interesting (along with the arcades). Mainly though, we all loved the beach and the seals!
