Seeing the New Year in

I would recommend this park as a summer stay for senior people. As a winter stay, it was very hard going.

Excellent campsite

We were only able to stay one night, but will definitely be back. The pitches are a generous size and the location is great for walking. The facilities were very clean and well maintained.

Lovely place

Very friendly lady at reception when we arrived. Lovely surroundings. Great value for money.

The grounds were nice and well kept

Be prepared for the toilet and shower block to be closed for over an hour around 9am - just when you want to shower to leave for the day! The grounds were nice and well kept. Everything was well signed and easy to access. It was quiet and peacefully. The whole stay was damped by the Tiley block being closed for cleaning for an hour at 9am. Checkout is 10.30am, so we packed up first then went to shower prior to leaving. We waited for over an hour and they were still closed and had to leave without being able to access the amenities that we paid for! This was the only facility we needed for the stay and it wasn't available. If we were made aware of cleaning times/delays in advance, we could have planned for it. As it turned out, we may have just stayed at a park up the road for the night and saved our money! Poor planning and communication on the parks side on this one!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review Justine, I would just like to address a couple of issues you raised. We have 2 toilet and shower facilities blocks onsite, when one block is closed for cleaning the other block is always open to enable guests to have access at all times. Both blocks are on the site map along with cleaning times and any further information required. I can also confirm that checkout is at 12pm. If guests require late checkout, they need to check with reception before 10:30am on the day of departure to ensure the pitch will be available. We are pleased you were happy with the site in general as the team work very hard to keep the site looking good.

Peaceful and quiet

This is a very clean and friendly site. Just right if you want a quiet and peaceful get away just to chill.

Great stay

Stayed here the night before our crossing to France. Great site, nice and quiet with good facilities. We arrived after the reception closed, but our info pack was easy to obtain and we found our pitch easily. Great facilities, very clean. Would stay again.

Had a lovely relaxing time!!

Lovely and quiet, clean and tidy, friendly staff. Pod was clean and tidy, very cosy, would definitely go again.

Good site

Enjoyed our 6th stay at Tanner Farm and had a great time. Shame the swing by the sand pit still only has 1 swing, and that's for the last 3 years. It would be great if Tanner Farm could eventually buy another one. Bigger shame is that groups with caravans and tents cannot camp together, although it seems management still allow the odd tent to pitch in the main field which is annoying. During our stay, the main field was virtually empty, first time in ages. Moan over, but still a good site.

In regard to the comment about tents, we responded to your email straight away when you raised the issue to us about the tent being pitched in the wrong location. Unfortunately, the guest's were European with limited English and pitched in the wrong location late in the day. We have ordered a new swing but are still waiting on delivery as there is a back-log on supplies.. We are glad you still managed to enjoy your stay and look forward to seeing onsite again.

Great stay!

Stayed in a pod with my 12 year old son. We had a great time! Beds were comfy. No wifi or phone reception (WhatsApp messages got through periodically), which made for a very peaceful weekend in which I managed to read a book. There's a 3 mile walk from the site through apple orchards, fields and past two rope swings, which were great fun. We cooked on a trangia, there was good space to sit on the decking to the front of the pod, which was provided with table and chairs. Son went to children's play area and made friends there. We will return.

Beautifully played out site

A really lovely place! However, I was given a pitch right next to someone else which was not necessary as there were plenty of empty spaces with tons of room around them. My dog was stressed by the close proximity of other dogs.

Nice place

Great facilities except for the shop, it could definitely do with more stuff to buy. They don't have many of the basics, only one type of bread that needed to be cooked.

Thank you for the review, we do try to keep the small shop well stocked and cater for our gusts needs, bread always sell out straight away which is why we keep part baked in stock as an option, we also have fresh breads and pastries on Saturday's.

Pod at Tanner Farm Park

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a pod. Fantastic clean facilities and a peaceful location, just what we needed. Would recommend to others.

Wonderful site

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The site was clean and tidy, a bit muddy, but we'd had a lot of rain. The facilities were spotless, but the hand dryer could have been a little more powerful to actually dry your hands. We loved the layout of the site, no overcrowding (it wasn't busy anyway), the pitches were well spaced out, and there was lots of open space between. We would definitely come back. The automatic barrier was well thought out, and self check in meant we could stay safe re Covid. Pitches were easy to locate, the numbers were nice and clear, and the site map being sent to us in advance was gratefully received. Thank you for having us.

Tulleys loved Tanners

Brilliant little place to stay with lots to do in the surrounding areas. Being new to the camping and caravan life, we really were looked after by the staff and also the other people staying on site. The little shop is perfect for little things you may have forgotten and prices are great. We had to leave a day earlier due to the weather forecast but we would have stayed another night. We spent quality time as a family & our two dogs on a lovely site. We will be back for sure.

Nice clean friendly site

Warm friendly staff happy to support and advise as it was our first visit. Will definitely be going back.

A quiet site

Arrived 10 mins after reception closed & could not find our pitch due to limited lighting & no signage. Had to call warden who offered us another pitch. Toilets/showers very clean but cold with no heating & water only warm. Site is well spaced & was very quiet & clean. It's location was ideal for local attractions & welcome pack emailed was very helpful, although still wasn't able to locate pitch. Would we return? Not sure.

Quiet site. Limited facilities due to time of year. Pitches well laid out and good size.
