Really enjoyed our stay, the staff are all very friendly. The pod and all amenities, were extremely well looked after. I came with young children, who had an excellent and exciting stay.
Lovely site, but not the best for peace and quiet

We enjoyed our stay here over the weekend. Staff were amazing. Shout out to the well stocked farm shop and super useful wheelbarrows. This is a clean and lovely campsite in terms of facilities and setup. Unfortunately, we were placed in a terrible spot, sandwiched in between the car park and a bell tent full of loud drunks, so the noise levels were really bad. I think campsite staff have done their best to put signs everywhere regarding curfews and respecting other guests, but there was noisy people and music until late over both nights. So if you want peace and quiet, maybe not the place for you.
Super, rural campsite

Frankly, I was expecting just a field (I hadn't read the info beforehand). The Wildings was so much more than that, it had everything a camper could need to make the stay comfortable and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommended! I would say that it is less suited to groups of friends as there is a noise curfew from 10pm, which is perfect for families, couples and solo campers.

We had a wonderful trip here. The location is beautiful. The pitches clear and easy to find. Play equipment for the kids to play on - a good way for the kids to meet friends! Great communal area to use the kettle (others were making porridge). There was also a fridge and freezer. Nice shop and lovely people that were so helpful. Someone had flushed a nappy or some wet wipes down the toilet and blocked all the showers and toilets in a long block. I felt so sorry for the owners and can just implore anyone to bin the wipes instead of flushing! Despite this, we still had no wait for the shower and never any wait for the toilet. There was also a lot in the area and we ate out at a nearby pub and visited another. The village nearby is very busy and pretty. There were walks we didn't get a chance to do and you aren't far from many beautiful sites. Would consider coming again even though we'd usually try new places.

Very noisy site, background traffic from the main road, late night children playing until past 11pm. A delivery at 4am to the farm shop by a lorry.

We had a wonderful stay at the Wildings. The site is fabulous, really well-maintained, with excellent facilities. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Best shower I've had at a campsite, too. :-) We'll definitely be back.
Good place to stay but not ideally connected to footpaths

As often in the UK, there is not much you can do without a car. However, at least one path to Burton on the Water is within reach, some 100m along the road. Apart from that, everything is as good as can be. The shop is well equipped, fairly priced and open most of the day.

Brilliant campsite with excellent facilities but a few noisy campers. Lovely tipi, very friendly welcome and spotless loos. Excellent facilities all round and the directions were perfect. The use of a kitchen was very helpful for washing up. They give you a kit to cook over the fire-pit, plates and cutlery etc which was very good, but the pans were tiny so bear this in mind, you might want to bring your own. There are wheelbarrows to cart your stuff from the car. They sell fire starter kits and a small amount of produce in the shop, but I would advise bringing your own food. They sell coffee in the morning which was wonderful. The location was beautiful. The only thing that we didn't like was nothing to do with the campsite owners or management. Everywhere, there were polite signs saying quiet time after 10pm but me and my children could not sleep because of shouty drunk people. It is a holiday, I get it and that's all good, but it was 11:30pm before it was actually quiet enough to sleep. I don't know if this is normal! A brilliant place for us as first-time campers but next time I might forgo the excellent facilities and camp wild.
Such a beautiful stay!

Stayed for one night in a yurt. Had a great stay. Yurt well equipped and the facilities are great. Location is just a short walk from Bourton on the Water - packed with cafes and restaurants. Host and staff are very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Brilliant site. Safe, family friendly and relaxed. Well marked and generous tent pitches. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean flushing loos and hot water. Small, delightful campsite shop and kitchen. Walking distance to pubs and shops. The only thing that would have made it even better would be if the camping field was set a little further from the road to make it feel even more wild. Would def recommend and stay again.

Really nice setting, super convenient for food and groceries while still being out in the middle of the countryside. Their shop is full of local produce and really well priced. Great coffee too.

I had a lovely pod tucked slightly away from the main area, which suited me perfectly. Clean, friendly and toasty warm despite the evening downpours. Well suited for families, groups and solo campers with dogs. Would highly recommend and the location is perfect for exploring.

20 minute walk from Bourton which is great and it's also a great walking location - we did the Windrush/Walden's Way straight from the campsite without having to drive or park anywhere, which is always a bonus! Other good things compared to other campsites we like were that we never had to queue for loo, shower or washing up. The communal fridge meant we could actually have cold beers on our second night! The site was relatively small so didn't have to do a huge trek to and from the car, the loo or the sinks. Things which work well elsewhere, like an honesty system to allow purchasing of food outside of shop opening hours. I really love an outdoor shower.

Lovely campsite with the option of camping or glamping. We were lucky enough to have the campsite to ourselves, so was very peaceful. Lots of lovely little touches around the place that show the site is well cared for. The toilets and showers are very clean and spacious. It rained quite heavily in the early hours of our first morning, so we were unable to cook outside as usual. Angus and Kim (who are very lovely) have provided a beautiful indoor kitchen with table and chairs which everyone can use. Perfect place to hide from occasional downpours. The stunning Bourton-on-the-Water is about a 15 minute walk downhill and about a 25 min walk back uphill. Beautiful village. Really enjoyed our 2 night stay and would definitely stay again.

Was a beautiful and relaxing week away with my children. Would definitely recommend going if you just want some quiet time. A bit of a walk to the village but found out the best route is down the roadway. Bit of a steep walk back up, but well worth going.

We were pleasantly surprised with this campsite- a lovely location atop the hills overlooking Bourton on the Water. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and well stocked with toilet roll and soap, and the showers had instant warm water. The small shop/reception is excellent -with great coffee, local produce, beer/cider, ice cream and fruit and vegetables. There is also a selection of marshmallows (including vegan) for the essential campfire. Lovely little touches around the site too - such as wheelbarrows to help you transport stuff to/from the car park, a communal cookhouse and good signage.

We came down to the area to visit my older brother and were looking for a family friendly base. We were not disappointed. The staff were super helpful and friendly, the site itself was clean and well managed. There were enough toilets and showers for the size, that even when busy we didn't have to wait. The shop was stocked with a good range of food and essentials and the cook house had all the facilities you could need. We indulged on both Tuesday and Friday, getting the pizzas that were being made on site. This was a really nice touch and again the owners of this business were super friendly and the food was delicious. We were camping in our own tent, so I can't comment on the other accommodation to stay in, but everything looked well looked after. We stayed as a family, including two adults and three children between the ages of 13 and 2. We all loved the site. This time we got a fire bucket and had some lovely BBQs. We are already looking at dates for our visit next summer.

Relaxing two nights in one of the bell tents. Also hired a Bundlebed bedding set - this included towels, which was a good surprise. Compared to bringing our own tent, it meant we didn't have to worry about space in the car. The showers were hot, the shop had some handy bits (our son enjoyed the mini-sweet shop, and we stocked up on eco-friendly essentials), the coffees were delicious and it was great to have a back-up of a kettle/oven/fridge. We also thought nearby Bourton-on-the-water was a great visit, esp with kids. The campsite team were friendly and really helpful - overall helped us to relax in a lovely environment.
