About Oakdown Holiday Park

Oakdown is one of the UK's 5 star holiday parks. It has received the highest AA platinum award, finalists in the Visit Devon award 2019 and winner of Gold in the South West Holiday Park of the Year 2017-2018 and Gold winners of the Visit Devon Award 2017. The park has also received the 2021 TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Award. Level and generously sized camping and touring pitches (suitable for all types of unit) are divided into groves and separated by pretty trees and shrubs. Each pitch offers excellent privacy, serviced with electric hook-up or super serviced pitches adding water and drainage. A limited number of pitches are also suitable for those large RVs and American style motorhomes. The Barrel Pods onsite are fully insulated against the weather with double glazing, a double bed and two singles. You'll also find electric sockets, lighting and heating, plus your own picnic bench alongside. Premier Pods have an extra central section which includes a dining table, fridge/freezer, microwave and shelving for food. The characterful Shepherd's Huts are another glamping option, each finished in their own unique style. Sleeping four, the huts include a large double bed, sofa bed, breakfast bar, fridge, kettle and toaster, as well as TV/DVD and patio with table and chairs. Finally, a number of high end caravans and lodges are also available for hire, and to buy, all set in a beautifully landscaped holiday home area. Well behaved dogs are welcome in all units, excluding shepherd's huts.

A note from the site themselves...

Conservation has always been very important to us as a family, with our sustainability journey beginning over 50 years ago by my parents and their forward thinking minds. Over the years we have evolved and, along with the guidance of the David Bellamy Conservation Scheme, we are proud to have kept this ethos throughout any development we do here at Oakdown.

We aim to not only provide a haven for our guests but also for the wildlife to thrive among us, whilst ultimately protecting our beautiful countryside.
