So glad we found this campsite, it was really chill and you could pitch wherever you wanted. Lovely views and only a 10 minute walk from a great pub (White Horse Inn - make sure you book a table. The facilities are exactly what you need - couple of showers and a couple of toilets, plus place for washing up (with soap and sponges included).
Great view

Alright campsite. Great views and good location. However, quite an incline on the site.
Lovely site for basic camping

Great spot of you want to venture round the north Lakes and like the more rural type of campsite. Basic facilities were clean with piping hot water for showers and dish washing. Will be returning. 4 miles east of Keswick and at the foot of Blencathra - fabulous.
Cheap and cheerful but weather dependent

Great location, only 10 mins drive from Keswick and 5 mins drive to Threlkeld for a walk to Blencathra, but there's no facilities on site and there's nothing really walkable for essentials like milk and bread. There's loads of space to pitch with options of 3 fields, although most of it is on some degree of slope but quite little mud. On arrival, we texted a mobile number as instructed but had no response and didn't see anyone in charge the whole time we were there, which is fine. Probably would have preferred a little message saying welcome, but no issues. Toilets and showers were good, kept in decent condition and are pretty well set up. There's 2 large sinks and 2 small sinks with toilet rolls and washing up liquid supplied. The fields can get muddy and the bottom field can turn into a swamp as we found out on the last day. So be mindful where you drive as you can easily get stuck on the grass. We had to leave a day before the end due to bad weather breaking our tent, so be aware that you're quite exposed in this campsite.
Amazing Campsite!

Great location, just off the A-road from Keswick. Lots nearby, nothing to fault! :)
Lovely spot - shame about other guests

Lovely, picturesque location with supporting facilities. Staff were friendly. Very hard to find level ground for a pitch. 2 nights ruined by loud groups blasting music into the early hours (1-2am). Multiple people asked to quiet them down from 10:30pm including supposed staff, but to no avail. Shame, as I imagine it would've been wonderfully peaceful otherwise.

I found the location of the campsite a great place to spend my time, beautiful views everywhere any time. It was cheap and even though I did not pay for electrical hookups, still there was a socket in the space before the showers and toilets which I could have used for something if needed. Place to hang the washing was also available by tying rope to shelves inside this space. The showers were warm and there was places to hang things so they are not on the floor, though there are no shelves and the wood around is unprotected from mould which is very visible in some areas. When calling the lady who is in charge of the campsite she was very friendly and we had no problems all our stay there. Overall a good experience thank you very much :)

First time here, not a single thing to complain about. Perfect location, clean, chill and comfortable. Slight hill to pitch on but never caused us a problem. Appreciate the kindness of the farm leaving bags, toilet rolls, fire lighters in the toilet area. Toilets were clean, showers could have slight upgrade with maybe a curtain or glass block, so water doesn't go everywhere. Other that that, I'll be back. Very happy with the weekend we've had. In fact, buzzing with the campsite we picked.

Fab site with great clean loos and showers. Location is stunning. Field was quite an incline so made for a sloped nights sleep. No phone connection on O2.

We stayed 2 nights it was really good. The views are amazing and waking up in the morning to the sunshine and the views is perfect. The shower and toilets are good but the walk up to them, if you camp at the bottom, wow. Just don't walk up drunk or just after a BBQ burger. Overall, I would recommend it, also not that far of a drive to Keswick town, a beautiful place.

Low Hollows is a great little site. Although, the two fields are a little bit sloping, there's enough space to find a decent pitch. The (free) showers and toilet block/washing-up area was regularly cleaned and high standard. The site is close to the A66, but there is minimal noise and you are surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. Will happily come back.

Great facilities and they are friendly at this campsite. Very clean, they have a washing area and they provided dish soap and sponges. Also option of purchasing their fire pits. Very enjoyable stay, great walks nearby down by the river. Thanks Low Hollows!

Just got back from a weekend here and what a lovely little campsite it is. Loads of space on the multiple fields for you to pitch and still be a nice distance away from other campers. We stayed in the bottom field as it was the quietest when we got there. The walk from the bottom field to the showers is a little trek up the hill but wasn't really an issue. There are two ladies' showers and toilets and two men's, it wasn't an issue this weekend and I managed to get in without a wait but I imagine in busier months there would be a little bit of a wait. Overall, a lovely campsite with some amazing walks close by, surrounded by beautiful hills, and only 10 minutes from Keswick. Definitely recommend.

This was our first time at Low Hollows campsite. We absolutely loved it, great spot, fantastic views, great facilities, hot shower and clean toilets, staff very welcoming. Loads of space to pitch your tent ⛺ very well kept. Definitely coming back. Highly recommended 👌

Good location and stunning views. 10 mins from Keswick and good walks available from right on the site. Only 2 toilets and 2 showers for women and then the same for men - this is difficult because the site is big and there was at least 20 tents this weekend and this can only get worse in the height of summer. More of each are needed for this to be a 5 star campsite. Facilities were clean and a small indoor bit for waiting. There is a grass track to the lower fields which did become muddy in the rain - something to be aware of as could result in some difficulty in worse weather. I would return as the cost was so low, but if prices were raised, I would think twice and likely go somewhere else that provided more for the money.
Nice facilities ruined by selfish campers

The place was clean. The toilet facilities were a long way from camping, although some pitches were nearby. Good value for money. Unfortunately our experience was spoilt some what by the people next to us blasting out music & talking loudly until 2am both nights. Perhaps the site could be more vigilant in maintaining standards & setting them out to people on arrival.
