Great winter stay, very friendly staff with well maintained pitches and facilities. Small shop selling snacks and essentials on site, but if you want to eat out, it is a short drive away.

Stayed for 1 night on Christmas Day. Arrived in the dark but woke up to lovely views on Boxing Day. Campsite was very clean and peaceful, with great facilities that were open and ready to use despite it being Christmas Day. A staff member came to find us when we arrived to check we could find our plot ok. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Awesome clean site. Very tidy and staff friendly. Would have loved to have been here for longer than 1 night. Bust stop just outside the site was useful.

Had a lovely long weekend stay at Bryn Gloch in the Shepherd's Huts. Perfect for someone like myself who doesn't like tents. Lovely and warm, clean and cozy. Facilities were nice and clean. Kids loved the games room and park. Felt very welcomed from the staff. Beautiful views to wake up to and easy access to a lovely path going up the hills.

Brilliant little break at this site for the weekend. Close to all the attractions of Snowdonia and really clean and tidy. Great facilities too. Only slight issue was that the games room is rather smelly!
Excellent!

We had a lovely stay at Bryn Gloch! We stayed in one of the Shepherd's huts and it was brilliant! Great view and very spacious! We had very bad weather so the hut's heater was very appreciated! Will definitely stay again!!

I don't have a bad thing to say, our 2 night mini stay was perfect. All the facilities were clean and more than practical. The views from the campsite are outstanding and the staff were lovely. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

Fantastic views of mountain range, very welcoming and friendly staff. It would make it more appealing if there was a local pub or restaurant off or onsite. Or perhaps an option of a cooked food facility?

North Wales is fantastic and this campsite is lovely. My criticisms are mainly due to the price of the facilities. It is not the cheapest campsite around and whilst there are plenty of toilets and showers, there were very few in the field we were staying in. Long queues and obviously, by the end of the day, they became a little untidy due to the amount of people using them. We heard the staff commenting about people not being prepared to walk a little further to the empty toilet block. Fair point, but not really practical during a traditional North Wales rain storm, and for the price paid, I think its fair to expect a better spread of facilities across the site. That being said, the campsite is in a perfect position and is very well maintained. The staff are very friendly and you have everything you could need.
Site's response
Thank you for your review. To response to the criticism, the park has facilities on each camping field. If these are busy, then our team members do direct guests to other facilities within a 2 minute walk. The weather is unfortunately out of our control. We hope to see you again when the sun is shining again.

We stayed in one of the Shepherd's Huts and it was perfect for our stay. Beautiful surroundings and handily located for loads of things to do. Staff always friendly and helpful. Was busy as it was peak holiday time but the shower blocks etc were cleaned regularly and never had to wait. Great for families with plenty of space to ride bikes/scooters, the two play areas and explore. The food vans were good and the pub up the road was handy.

Had a lovely stay for two evenings. Only a few issues. The toilets were dirty and better drainage needed in the showers. Apart from that the, site was clean. A few noisy drunks but respectful after 11pm. Staff friendly. Most importantly, a shelf hip height needed in the showers.

Stayed at this site to visit Zip World which was about 30 mins away. The site is located at the bottom of some fantastic mountains with fantastic views. The staff on arrival were very polite and helpful, which was great. Unfortunately, the weather was not great with some heavy rain and high winds which made the campsite a little boggy in places, but our pitch was protected and not boggy at all. There is a little shop on site with the essentials, a games room and a launderette. Toilets and showers were kept clean with plenty of spaced hot water. The site is also dog friendly, with a nice little dog walk area next to the river and plenty of walks for all to enjoy. Will hopefully visit again in the near future.
